Paula’s choice salicylic acid exfoliant

I’ve been using Paula’s choice  liquid exfoliant for the past week. But something feels off because when I put it on my face, it ends up leaving this oily residue instead of drying up. Is the normal? HELP?! Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant 8 oz / 236 mL

@sofiyaomgomg  Yep, it’s normal for that particular product. The finish/texture doesn’t bother a lot of people, especially not folks with very dry skin. I have mostly-dry combo skin and I’m not fond of that slightly oily residue either. (Other products in my skincare routine are quite emollient, so them + this exfoliant = a bit of emollient-feeling overkill for my skin.) That’s why I use Paula's Choice CLEAR Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution with 2% Salicylic Acid 4 oz/ 118 mL  instead: it doesn’t leave that filmy feeling behind, plus it helps calm my reactive skin.
