Sulfate Allergy

What is your favorite sulfate free shampoo and conditioner? I’ve tried Alterna, Kerastase, and Moroccan oil with little success.

@kodiakkid i'm currently loving the Bumble & Bumble Invisible Oil shampoo. Alterna Caviar Moisture Replenishing conditioner has been my go to for the last ~2 years now. Prior to that, I LOVED EVOLVh's Ultrashine Moisture conditioner and shampoo, but it was getting too difficult to buy in Canada.

What did not meet your expectations for those products? Did you react to them, did they not cleanse well, or...?

The Alterna worked for a while, but then started to bother my scalp again. Maybe I just got some bad product from amazon? Was just looking at Bumble and Bumble. Is the invisible oil ok for thin hair, do you think?

@kodiakkid I'm not sure if it's for thin hair, only because I have the total opposite hair type (coarse and thick) and my experience might not translate to your hair type. Can you get a sample from a store to try out before committing?

I wonder if  you're allergic/sensitive to another ingredient because there isn't any sulphates in the Alterna...(the one I use, anyway)

That’s a great idea to try for a sample. I think the Alterna may be counterfeit from an independent seller on amazon. May try again because the first bottle from Sephora was great.
