if you're an oily prone skin, gel creams/moisturizers work best whereas thick creams/moisturizers work better for dry skin. i have combo skin and i use the purito oat calming gel cream off of amazon. i also like the The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Daily Moisturizer 3.3 oz/ 100 mL  . avoid using products with pore clogging ingredients and that can also cause types of acne you're prone to.
