Welcome to the Spring Cheek Challenge!!!  I'm looking for that seasonal refresh.  For the first SPRING Cheek challenge, (I know right.. How is this the first...I couldn't get past IYKYK, "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking."), I want you to look towards personal moments and icons (person, celebrity, objects) for inspiration.    Look to the Gawds, dahhhhhlings.   And zhuzh it up with an outfit, or hair accessory or anything you think that's relevant.  I've declared this the "year of using my pretty things, " and I'm inviting you to join me!

Candy Coated Coquette, Pastels

When I first saw this theme, my initial thought was to use the Yves Saint Laurent Make Me Blush Liquid Blush - 57 Coral Clash, and I had planned on doing just that earlier this week, but called an audible at the last minute and went with Finding Ferdinand Tender Blush - Skinny Dip. Of the two photos of the blush on the cheeks, the top photo is of two layers of the squalane-based cream blush; the bottom is at the end of the day. I ended up applying 4 thin layers, with a Beautyblender beauty.blusher by Beautyblender®; base is ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation.

I love the mood board you created @itsfi , and this just looks so delightfully playful, it's that pinky pink 🩷 you think of immediately when it comes to pastels

Thank you for saying that @danielledanielle. 😊 I have a heck of a time with pastel pinks - blushers, lippies, etc. and was trying to go for that traditional pastel pink without it looking chalky or pasty on me.

Quick look using the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops Serum Rosy Glow . The shade isn't very candy  like but the bottle is, and it smells like watermelon candy so it counts 😉
