Welcome to the Spring Cheek Challenge!!!  I'm looking for that seasonal refresh.  For the first SPRING Cheek challenge, (I know right.. How is this the first...I couldn't get past IYKYK, "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking."), I want you to look towards personal moments and icons (person, celebrity, objects) for inspiration.    Look to the Gawds, dahhhhhlings.   And zhuzh it up with an outfit, or hair accessory or anything you think that's relevant.  I've declared this the "year of using my pretty things, " and I'm inviting you to join me!

Thank you, @Mellmars1185! I originally wanted to try to pull off a champagne blush look but didn't quite get it. This was a fun chance to dig through my peachy corals. And I am such a nerd about looking through things like Pantone colors, lol.

I always have that problem too, with makeup colors (specifically blush lol) not showing up in photos. Like, I'll feel like I applied it pretty heavily and it's popping IRL, then I look at my selfies and you can barely see it! Every time 😫

Really @caitbird ? I'm glad I'm not alone. Your looks always look so subtle and regal, though! It always makes me want a better phone camera but I can't justify a new phone just for makeup selfies darnit!

As @JoSometimes once remarked *cried in lost pixels* @PDXXXX  The compression rate takes that even further.  This is still stunning nonetheless.

I mentally struggle how much work goes into layering sometimes, and having it barely show... Like no makeup makeup ALWAYS takes me forever.

@danielledanielle "cried in lost pixels" lmao! Yesss - that nails it. I'm with you on layering. I feel so impatient and amazed how much time it can take especially with liquid blushes in the mix. It's like I have to consider placement with how different formulas will blend out and together more so than putting them exactly where I want them. Still getting the hang of it.
