Hourglass Blush/Powder shade for rosacea-prone?

Hi everyone! I would love to try one of the hourglass blushes or ambient lighting powders, but I don't know which shade to choose. I have fair-light skin with redness in the cheek/nose area. Any suggestions? 😊

@gracefulolive  - I personally don't have rosacea but I understand the redness dilemma from unexpected hives / facial flushing.  Personally, I think there are quite a few options for fair - medium skin tone along with your concern based on my experience.   I am a P20 in Cover Fx to give you an idea of my skin tone.  In the permanent ambient lighting powders the ones I use and love include Mood Light (has a lovely lavender undertone that helps brighten the face), Dim Light (I like to mix it with Diffused Light or use it as a very subtle contour) and Diffused Light (slightly yellow undertone which offsets any pink/red undertone I may be experiencing).  All three are lovely and work well even on days where I am experiencing flushing / hives.  On my list is also Ethereal ALP but I feel I'd have to be careful not to build it up too much to avoid the ghost look.  I also have the Unlocked palette but the powders and blushes are not permanent.  In terms of blush, from the permanent line I love Ethereal Glow - it gives a very soft natural pink finish.  It is my hands down favorite.  I also love Mood Exposure - it is a soft plum.  Brilliant Nude is pretty but not my favorite.  I also own last year's lunar blush which is almost a cross between Luminous Flush and Radiant Magenta.  The holiday blush quad has a lovely assortment - the only permanent color is the Brilliant Nude.  The holiday palettes Unlocked and Ghost both have their own blush shades.  Since all of the powders are buildable and blendable, I think most will work for your skin tone and with your concern so it will come down to personal preference.  To perhaps help narrow it, I'd look at the trio so you can get two finishing powders and a strobe light or perhaps look at Dim, Diffused and Mood Light to see which one(s) you like.

@gracefulolive  - You're welcome.  I'd love to hear your thoughts and which one(s) you picked up.  🙂
