Cheek Challenge Winter 2024: Mocktail Makeup

Hey, we're back at it, collab'ing with @sister13 for Makeup Challenge of the Week 2021/2022/2023   Time to get cheeky, winter style with...

Blush Cocktails!!!

Creating cheeked out versions of cocktails but with makeup - custom combos of complexion products like concealer, blush, highlighters, bronzers.   Don't just think of layering.  Break out your mixing palettes (or palms or back of your hands if that's what ya got)!  Basically, recipes with blushes inspired by boozy beverages.  Get all the glam of the chic cocktails, but none of the calories. 😂 (Great if you're also doing a dry January).  If you're not sure what a particular drink looks or tastes like, that's okay!  These threads are all about interpretations of looks.

Jan 14-20: Cherry Cola/Cherry Cocktail Lips + Cheeks. Think ombre lips and burgundy or deep red looks.

Jan 21-27: Hot Toddy Week. Think bright and sultry, go for golds and honey or amber colors.
Jan 28-Feb 3: Espresso Martini\Martini Week.  This is the martini look - green and shimmer, but you could also add a deep lip to it or go for brown or plum version.

Feb 3-10: Maiden's Blush or Cosmopolitan Week This is the one that started it - Maiden's Blush, by RMS beauty.  It's coral, shimmery and warm.

Feb 11-17: Red Wine & Hot Chocolate - If you do partake in alcohol, try this it's delicious.  The look speaks to red and brown, but again, you choose.

Feb 18-24: Pink Blush /Blush Wine - Essentially, this is a pink look, but pinks have all sorts of tones, so have fun playing with this, whether it's all pink or a pop of pink.

@CynthieLu Fantastic cosmo inspired look. These are 2 great lip and cheek products to create the look. How did you apply the product to your lips?

@Mellmars1185 I used PrimaDonna on the outer corners of my lips and Bellini in the Centre. I blended then togeather by rubbing my lips togeather and I finished everything by putting Fenty's Holographic Lip gloss over top. These are a little drying on me and a gloss just makes it 👌😀

I used my fingers too apply it, one day I might invest in a proper lip brush thou. 😉

@greeneyedgirl107 I used this one on my cheeks for this look. I do like the glowy look it gives. I thiink I have used it on my lips before. I like to apply a product like this with my finger on my lips. I use a brush to apply it as blush. I like that it helps make a look cohesive.
