Cheek Challenge Winter 2024: Mocktail Makeup

Hey, we're back at it, collab'ing with @sister13 for Makeup Challenge of the Week 2021/2022/2023   Time to get cheeky, winter style with...

Blush Cocktails!!!

Creating cheeked out versions of cocktails but with makeup - custom combos of complexion products like concealer, blush, highlighters, bronzers.   Don't just think of layering.  Break out your mixing palettes (or palms or back of your hands if that's what ya got)!  Basically, recipes with blushes inspired by boozy beverages.  Get all the glam of the chic cocktails, but none of the calories. 😂 (Great if you're also doing a dry January).  If you're not sure what a particular drink looks or tastes like, that's okay!  These threads are all about interpretations of looks.

Jan 14-20: Cherry Cola/Cherry Cocktail Lips + Cheeks. Think ombre lips and burgundy or deep red looks.

Jan 21-27: Hot Toddy Week. Think bright and sultry, go for golds and honey or amber colors.
Jan 28-Feb 3: Espresso Martini\Martini Week.  This is the martini look - green and shimmer, but you could also add a deep lip to it or go for brown or plum version.

Feb 3-10: Maiden's Blush or Cosmopolitan Week This is the one that started it - Maiden's Blush, by RMS beauty.  It's coral, shimmery and warm.

Feb 11-17: Red Wine & Hot Chocolate - If you do partake in alcohol, try this it's delicious.  The look speaks to red and brown, but again, you choose.

Feb 18-24: Pink Blush /Blush Wine - Essentially, this is a pink look, but pinks have all sorts of tones, so have fun playing with this, whether it's all pink or a pop of pink.

Okay well, I kind of neglected the cheeks, but had been wanting to try the Cherry Cola lips. I didn’t have a deep enough brown lip liner, then I remembered the MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil Longwear Lip Liner 506 Endless Cacao , which I actually got at SEPHORiA. I added an old Barbie Sephora Collection lipstories burgundy color. Oh, and then I wanted a little more gloss so I added a NARS Orgasm Oil-Infused Lip Tint Orgasm .

On eyes and cheeks, I also used the NATASHA DENONA Love Face Eyeshadow & Cheek Essential Palette . 

Thanks SO much again @danielledanielle for keeping the ball rolling on our collab. I’m hoping things calm down in the next week or so, but why is adult life so BUSY!? 

I also made a Cherry Coke with my favorite cocktail cherry syrup. And then I added some bourbon for a delicious Bourbon Cherry Coke!

This look and that drink are a perfect pairing @sister13! I would not have thought that lippie combo was part Barbie. I think I remember you posting about it a while back though. 

I wish I had seen this before I went to the grocery store earlier today. I would have totally picked up ingredients to give that drink a try!

Yes, that was a very deep Barbie, I think there were 6 or more “Barbie” colors. These are my very favorite cocktail cherries! @JoSometimes

I have seen a few people lately playing with thier NATASHA DENONA Love Eyeshadow Palette 0.65 oz/ 19.25 g lately. Maybe it's the big heart day 💌 approaching but I'm wishing it was in my collection too. 😉 I love what you did with it and this theme.
