A thread dedicated to Wayne Goss brushes and cosmetics line.
Wayne Goss brushes and cosmetics are included in Beautylish's Fall sale, including the Collector's Edition, the First Edition, and the White Gold synthetic brushes, all 30% off.
I recommend the Collector's Edition brushes as they are a love letter to his first brush releases and contain brushes unique to his line and some similar to treasured but discontinued brushes. I specifically recommend the Face Set, which has the most unique brushes for face and eyes, all with blue squirrel and goat bristles. Further below are the Collector's Edition (CE) with comparisons (L to R): CE Brush 1 (a larger, thicker Air Brush), the Air Brush, CE 2, Anniversary Brush 02 Brush 10, Eye Set 16, CE 3, Eye Set 17, CE 4, and CE 5, an angled brush that has no comparison in WG's brush range.
I recently purchased The Collector's Edition Eye Set after purchasing and enjoying the Face Set. The Eye Set brushes are made with a mix of blue squirrel, goat, horse, and synthetic bristles.
The full collection was designed to be a love letter from Wayne and a nod to his first brush sets. I can say without hesitation that The Collector's Edition brushes are of a beautiful quality and remind me why I love those first collections still to this day.
BREAKING NEWS: Wayne Goss has resigned from Wayne Goss Beauty in all capacities effective March 28, 2025. Below is the written statement from his YT video. He stressed that any products that come to market after March 28, 2025 that bear his name are not approved by him and singled out items sold in/from China. He also mentioned that things are coming and when the time is right, he will share his new vision. Wayne Goss items sold on Beautylish are Wayne's creations.
@itsfi, I did not, either! I've seen for months WG brushes sold on ebay from China but there must be more to the story. He had engaged business professionals that saw his brand expand and his brushes sold in John Lewis, for example, so I am at a loss to understand what went sideways, particularly when a number of things were in development.
@TraceyEB, there's definitely other chapters in this story that we're not privvy to and lots of questions based on his announcement. We'll just have to stay tuned.
@TraceyEB, I know how much you love his mascara. I've been hoarding my tubes. Fingers crossed that the mascara is one of his first re-releases. 🤞
Below is my Collector's Edition Face Set whose bristles are blue squirrel and goat; a few also include a small amount of synthetic bristles. This is is my favourite brush set that Wayne has released since the First Anniversary Set, my first WG brush collection. I'll be picking up the Eye Set.
Beautylish's gift card sale ends today. WG's The Collector's brushes and his LE F1 brush have been paired with available products for a great deal!
Here is my new WG LE F1 brush and a comparison with the original F1 First Edition brush. The LE F1 brush has a rose ferrule, a slightly shorter white handle that is not tapered, and a subtle elegant violet gradient reminiscent of the lights in Wayne's office.
Tagging @Samtian
Launches tomorrow, March 11 at 10 am PT. Retails for $65. Beautylish is contacting people on the pre-sale list.
Confirmed! Wayne launches LE F1 angled brush with lilac ombre handle and rose gold ferrule. The video below shows its many uses. It's a lovely brush, super soft bristles, that can be used with powdera and liquids. Trying to confirm launch date (usually it's a few days after Wayne reveals the brush).
@itsfi, it's a good shape to have special edition treatment! The last time Wayne did a rose gold ferrule, it was a LE Air Brush. Speaking of, a lot of people want that brush back (me, too)!
A limited edition look for one of Wayne's bestselling brushes is launching soon. Praayyying that it's a natural hair Air Brush but a partial header on Beautylish referenced First Edition so it could be the F1 angled brush in that set (see below).
Received this update from Beautylish that Wayne's new brushes have been held up at Customs. They expect them to clear in 1-2 days; shipping would be January 30 at the earliest. I was seeing the ship date creep and then removed, so I appreciated this update!
