I know we have threads dedicated to specific beauty brands but I didn’t really see one dedicated or updated for all things Trader Joe’s. It could be beauty, skincare, haircare, household or grocery items. Post your finds here so others could be on a lookout of what to find or is newly released at their local store. It could also be something you think people should try. Their beauty section is so underrated and most people don’t even know they have a beauty aisle.  Their candles and seasonal items are amazing and they always have unique snacks.

My store just told me that they are no longer doing weekly drawings for clients that bring their own bags.  I'm assuming this is store wide...I already contacted the company to express my displeasure.  Maybe other BICers will do the same  😉

@greeneyedgirl107  Here in Chicago, the drawings at all TJs (we have several locations) stopped a long time ago… at least a couple years ago, it seems. Maybe longer than that. Since we pay a 10¢ tax per bag provided by a retailer, many of us bring our own bags anyway. (Bag tax used to be 7¢ but was raised this year.) And some of us have carried reusable bags for decades. 

Anyway, I think I’ve only ever entered TJ’s drawing once. I remember filling out a little form, and I’d have forgotten to do it had the cashier not mentioned it—which explains why I never did it again. 😅 It was a good perk for folks who remembered to take advantage, though.

New body butter

The kids opened their peppermint creams today.  A lot of the formulation has changed.  The peppermint candies on top are now naturally colored; white and purple instead of white and red.  They taste funny.

The texture of the fondant has also changed.  It's gluey; tastes and feels like Colgate.

If I'd known this earlier, I would have asked for a sample before buying.  One of the few items I plan on returning.

Japchae from the frozen food section. Sweet potato glass noodles, barely cooked veggies and soy based sauce. Yum!

I haven't tried these yet, but they do seem to be made to be a dupe for Necessaire.  The body wash bottle is made of metal.  To be honest, the bergamot scent of this wash is way better than the Necessaire one; it seems more of a straight citrus scent, whereas the Necessaire one kind of has an off-putting scent to me.
