The Laneige Thread

Most of you know that I love Laneige skincare products. I’m always on the lookout for their new releases as well as their yummy lip sleeping mask scents. This thread is dedicated to all the Laneige newness and love.

Re: The Laneige Thread

@SportyGirly125 sad to see only four flavors of LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm on this site and the direct site.  I wore pear which is gone.  I guess it's time to try peach.  Would have loved mango in this product.

Re: The Laneige Thread

@greeneyedgirl107 grapefruit has been my favorite, but I don't understand why they don't do more flavors like they do for the lip masks.

Re: The Laneige Thread

@makeitup305 @I wonder if it’s not as popular as the mask. I love the grapefruit one. I got my Mom the pear one when it came out.

Re: The Laneige Thread

@SportyGirly125 to me it's practically the same formula in a less messy packaging. I think it doesn't have as much hype and doesn't sell as well. If they marketed it as "our viral lip mask, now in a tube!" it would probably sell more but that's just a guess.

Re: The Laneige Thread

I saw this announcement earlier today @SportyGirly125. I love mango anything!

Re: The Laneige Thread

@JoSometimes I was thinking about getting it but I already tried it last year. I ended up getting Cherry Blossom and Pink Lemonade and it arrives tomorrow.

Re: The Laneige Thread

I've actually been curious to know how people would compare the texture and results of the LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask with Squalane 2.3 oz/ 70 mL and the LANEIGE Cica Sleeping Mask
I really like how light but perfectly moisturizing the cica one feels - and I usually opt for very heavy night masks and even day time moisturizers - this feels like it does the job of gently soothing the skin and being a layer of extra moisture sealing my dry skin always craves.

Just wanted to know if the textures and results of both are comparable before deciding to try out the water version.

Re: The Laneige Thread

For me, those two are completely different, @CattyT3. I love the original because of it's like gel texture that doesn't feel like it weighs anything on my skin. I lean oily so light layers tend to be my friend. The lavender version has the same gel-like consistency of the original as well. But the cica one was far more of a cream and sat much heavier on my skin than the other two.

Re: The Laneige Thread

That's perfect to know - I have dry skin so gel textures just never feel like they're enough unless I put another layer over it. So I'll know to not use it alone if I end up with the water sleeping mask at any point. Thank you for the information.

Re: The Laneige Thread

How have people been finding the new LANEIGE Cream Skin Refillable Toner & Moisturizer with Ceramides and Peptides 5.7 oz / 170 ml ?
I actually only tried out the original toner moisturizer just in time before all places that stocked Laneige took the samples off their websites in preparation for the new launch - and I can see why it is/ was so popular.
I've been enjoying the new one and the only noticeable difference so far is that this is a tiny bit less sticky after applying to the touch. It layered really nicely with my relatively thin sunscreen formula (Krave Beauty Beet the Sun) without the need for an extra moisturizer while my skin has been recovering from an extra irritated and flaky nose episode.
Curious to know who else is trying this new formula out and how you're getting the best out of using this product.

Re: The Laneige Thread

I cannot wait to try this!

Re: The Laneige Thread

@AshleyEstelle @I already got mine and can’t wait to use it along with the cherry blossom one.

Re: The Laneige Thread

I wonder if there has ever been a coconut Lip mask?

Re: The Laneige Thread

@Mellmars1185, coconut oil is a key ingredient in this lip treatment and it has a pina colada scent.

LANEIGE Lip Treatment Balm 0.35 oz/ 10g

As far as I know though there’s not been a coconut version in the lip sleeping mask line.

Re: The Laneige Thread

@itsfi Ahh yes! I found a mini of this in my stash and when I opened it I was so happy with the scent! 🥥🍍

Re: The Laneige Thread

I didn’t know this one existed. Thx @itsfi 🌹I’m down as soon as I hear pina colada 😘

Re: The Laneige Thread

@blackkitty2014 @That one is really good.

Re: The Laneige Thread

Already put it in my list. Thx you @SportyGirly125 🌹
