I tried:

-the original Veil primer (made me oily),

-the stick foundation (heavy, showed texture, didnt hold well),

-the finishing powder (nothing special),

-highlighter in the color pear (was ok)

-oil controling primer (it works but it has ingredients that can do something to the pores, it happened to me, sorry about my english lol)

The only thing that i still like alot is the metallic highlighter trio that they brought back months ago; i received it with one of the highlights broken....

Oh well, tis just makeup....

Wow, that metallic highlighter trio is the item that I like the least of my Hourglass collection, in fact I was thinking of putting in the trade thread. (I just don't feel confident about trades -- how do you know how much to value your items?)

Hourglass stuff I hated enough to return: 

-The new mascara that was supposed to be a tubing mascara. Unlocked Instant Extensions. It flaked, into my eyes a bit even, which irritated them so much. And it just looked so matte and dry on my eyes. I miss YSL vinyl mascara so much, I need to find a dupe for it.

Hourglass stuff I didn't end up using much:

-The 1.5mm eyeliner in the shade Canyon. It didn't work for me to tightline with, but I tried it on my lower lash line the other day and it was kind of good, just a bit dark for the effect I want. Would try a different color.

I love all the Hourglass powders I have bought, and I like the Veil primer. Never tried the stick foundation, but I use the Hyaluronic Skin Tint. Still have yet to try the Translucent loose powder, as I use the Givenchy Prisme Libre and I have ended up with so much of that, I feel compelled to try to use it up most of the time!

@gingerleigh how can you hate those highlighters ?? they are soft and very reflective at the same time 😄

But then you know, for me its more a collectible because i dont even wear highlighters on my cheeks, i put some in my inner corners but still, i just had to have it, so when they brought it back i jumped on it, but yeah, the people working over there were really nonprofessionals as the highlighter box was at the bottom of the box with some... some brown paper in the box. I mean, when i opened the box i told myself... ''there is a chance its ALL broken'', and then only one was, but its a shade i liked too. Its like jewels 😛

Oh I don't hate it, it's just that I use it very seldom and I know there are some people out there who would love it more than me and get a lot more joy from it. When I do use it, I also put it on my eyes. @Emy10

Recently I saw the No 28 lip oils got somewhat mediocre to even bad reviews here and there. The issues I recall reading about were product not dispensing, and bleeding into lip lines. Has anyone here on the forum had these problems, or any other problems? I have four shades of the lip oil -- Icon, At Night, Adorn, and Nocturnal -- and I haven't had any issues at all. It was no more difficult to get the oil to start going than it is to get a YSL Touche Eclat pen going, for example (so yes it took many clicks). The only potential for a problem came when I dispensed too much product. In the promotional images you see a full pump dispensed, but you really only need the tiniest bead you can manage. I mean it's an oil. It has to go somewhere. If too much is used, it absolutely will end up in lip lines.

Anyway, I do love this product! But I think I am good with the four shades I purchased. I have urges to complete the collection, but I have equally strong urges to finish the ones I have before buying more, or at least stagger them, like wait til the first two I got are more than halfway used up before buying Cameo and Bare.

@gingerleigh I have Bare and it was a pain to get the product out.  Then when I did get the product out it was too much so I wasting it.  I'm not planning on repurchasing it again.

At Night Blush is here earlier than expected! I just bought it. I'm so excited for it to arrive! Also, I forgot to mention Sublime Flush is a "new" release as a single but I think was originally released in one of Hourglass' past palettes.

@spadersgirl Oh my goodness. Lovely colors.  I may have to purchase this.  I love the translucent powder from this line.  Its my absolute favorite I use to bake!

On Temptalia the blush looks like a dark coral. Not what I was expecting! I have the At Night No 28 lip oil and I love it. It is definitely red.

I SO want to try At Night, but I'm scared to death it's going to be too much for my light complexion. The only swatches I've seen are at Temptalia, and she's more of a light/medium, and it looks dark on her. What I'd give for an in-person swatch!

Here they are on my arm which is slightly warm toned @Harobedb if it helps. Just got them this evening and will also swatch tomorrow and see how different they are in the daylight. At Night is def a ruddy tone but pretty. And Sublime is a fun vibrant pink.

Also @Harobedb I did heavy swatch a few times so if softer I think they would be pretty flush on light skin.  :).

Aww good glad if it helps @Harobedb ! Just my iPhone lol. I always struggle to find good swatches too so I know what you mean. I’m curious how they’ll look tomorrow and anxious to try them! Now I wish they’d also do a single of the blush in the other Ghost palette. That is such a favorite of mine. Do you have it also? Mood Flush I think it is. Would be great to have as a single too.

Thank you again for the daytime swatches. I have both the Ghost palette and the Ghost blush quad; isn't Sublime Flush in the Ghost palette? It's the same one, right? (Lower right.)

Yes Sublime is in the Ghost Unlocked Edit I believe and Mood is in Ghost Edit @Harobedb , if I remember correctly! They both so pretty I wish I had gotten Unlocked also but at least the shades can be found in other singles. 😊
