Thought I'd start a thread just for Viseart since so many of us LOVE them. ![]()
I love to encourage a small brand as opposed to a brand where you pay for the name. The eye shadow quality can't be beat!

Price breakdown for those interested
Saw this on Facebook a while back and thought I'd add it here.
A 12 color Viseart Eyeshadow Palette is $80 USD (before pro discount). Each eyeshadow pan is 2 grams and valued at approx. $6 ($3.00 per gram).
MAC has reduced the price of their single eyeshadows refills from $10 USD to $6 USD each. So 12 colors at the new reduced price would be $72 USD (before pro discount). Add the $8 USD empty palette to store them and we're back to $80 USD.
EXCEPT: Each MAC eyeshadow pan is only 1.3 grams ($4.62 per gram). You're getting only 15.6 grams of product, as opposed to the 24 grams of eyeshadow in the Viseart palette. That's a loss of over 8 grams of product.
FINAL ANALYSIS:
It would cost $119 USD for MAC to duplicate the Viseart palette (24 grams of MAC eyeshadow at $4.62 per gram and $8 for the palette).
@ibblej - Thanks, that's great info. I'll put Spitz down on my list. I just picked up several palettes this year including Paris Edit and Paris Nudes so I need to go on a no-buy for a little while. Nice to know that it can lean neutral on my light skin tone. I believe the two shades you mentioned are their duochromes. I think some fallout can be anticipated particularly if you have a lot of product on your brush, apply dry or are not using a primer. There are some shimmers made by Viseart intended to be used with a mixing medium but I do not think it is necessary with the duochormes unless you want to make the shades really pop. I think there is a shimmer in either Midsommer or Solstice that has a little fall out but I don't recall which palette. The look was a nice pink coral.
Again, many thanks for the great review and feedback. It's very helpful!!!
@MCSSavvy Yeah, at least on my eyes, Ciambella, Prosecco, Brioche, Fizz, Balmy, and Scala are all comfortably in the "neutral" camp, used on their own. Sadly though, I don't think there's any true duochromes in the Spritz-- I swatched the two in question to check and I didn't see any shift, and the brand's description doesn't mention any duochromes in the Spritz palette either. They've got a neat texture that turns into an impressive foiled finish once it's on the eye though! (Regarding fallout, I think I might have miscommunicated? I didn't have any issues with fallout in the Spritz or the Paris.)
Welcome, glad I could be helpful! 😄 And good luck on your no-buy! (It'll still be there when you're done! You can do it! Rah rah! ✺◟( ^_^)◞✺) How are you finding the Paris Nudes, by the way? I've heard it's lovely, and I'm really enjoying the Edit, so far.
@ibblej - LOL! I think I appreciate Paris Edit even more now that I have Paris Nudes. Both palettes stand on their own. I've applied Paris Nudes without primer and it still looked fresh the next morning. The shades are soft and feel buttery and I think it can definitely be worn with or without a matte shade. I've use it with mattes from Paris Edit and Rose Edit (was still waiting for my 12 pan matte palettes) and the colors worked well. I think the palette is a classic and definitely recommend it.
I'm so excited! I just ordered VISEART - Aperol Spritz Eyeshadow Palette VISEART - Rosé EDIT Eyeshadow Palette and the VISEART - Neutral Mattes Milieu I've been wanting these for a long time and have been saving. I'm going to go sit in front of the window and wait for them to arrive LOLOLOL.
@AMK721 - What do you think about Spritz? It looks warm/orange to me but I see it has some good reviews (temptalia, various youtubers).
@MCSSavvy I just got it and it is quite warm / orange-y, though the oranges do lean peach if that matters to you. I quite like it, but do like warm color schemes in general. It is similar to the Apricotine, if you have that one already.
@ibblej -- That's helpful. I prefer cool tone or true neutrals. I can pull of peach and/or pinkish-peach. I passed on Apricotine because whenever I saw it in person it looked like it pulled more orange than peach in the pan but I don't recall if I swatched it. I may pass on this one as well though some of the shimmers look pretty.
@Loretta55 oh sorry to hear that. What was the problem with it? I have numerous Viseart palettes, most of them are in my Go-To drawer but I do have a couple that I just don't reach for very often.
@Loretta55 gotcha 😉 Hopefully I like it, if not it'll still be part of my collection. I have an addiction to eyeshadow palettes LOL.
Does anyone know when Spritz will be at Sephora? Thanks!
@Mochapj -- I love Viseart and was so excited with the Paris Edit release. I loved the color story and that is a cool tone neutral palette. Spitz is way to warm tone for me though I'm sure it will look lovely on some - it's also not my favorite color scheme (which is why I passed on Apricotine last year). I'm wondering what it will look like in real life swatches. And Petite Chou Chou - it looks lovely and leans cool tone but I wouldn't wear it. For some reason it makes me think of a cartoon called - Jem and the Rockstars? - I could be wrong on the title and also Rainbow Bright. 😄 It's been a long 1 1/2 months under the stay at home order where I'm at, can't you tell? LOL Anyway, I was really hoping for cool tone palettes this year - and I really hope they don't do an ABH and churn out a palette every two weeks so they no longer become special. I really do adore their formula and love the edit size palettes.
I think it is phenomenal of Viseart to offer their pro 20% discount to First Responders, and they just earned so much respect from me. Redditor nighdraconis13 posted this on MUAontheCheap last night.
Swatches of Petit Pro Chou Chou - Available now on their site and should be up soon at Beautylish
