Thought I'd start a thread just for Viseart since so many of us LOVE them. ![]()
I love to encourage a small brand as opposed to a brand where you pay for the name. The eye shadow quality can't be beat!

Price breakdown for those interested
Saw this on Facebook a while back and thought I'd add it here.
A 12 color Viseart Eyeshadow Palette is $80 USD (before pro discount). Each eyeshadow pan is 2 grams and valued at approx. $6 ($3.00 per gram).
MAC has reduced the price of their single eyeshadows refills from $10 USD to $6 USD each. So 12 colors at the new reduced price would be $72 USD (before pro discount). Add the $8 USD empty palette to store them and we're back to $80 USD.
EXCEPT: Each MAC eyeshadow pan is only 1.3 grams ($4.62 per gram). You're getting only 15.6 grams of product, as opposed to the 24 grams of eyeshadow in the Viseart palette. That's a loss of over 8 grams of product.
FINAL ANALYSIS:
It would cost $119 USD for MAC to duplicate the Viseart palette (24 grams of MAC eyeshadow at $4.62 per gram and $8 for the palette).
More swatches in her video... after seeing her eye makeup I want the blush palettes even more! She used them on her eyes! Oh so pretty!
I'm gonna be honest V, I have concerns about the quality of the blush palettes.
I like the colors of the ones I got, but they are both powdery AF whether I am swatching or applying with a brush. 😞
That's too bad. Thanks! She says it's very sheer when you start applying it but can do a nice build up. She thought at first they'd be too heavy but it was the opposite. You can see though in the video when she swatches them that they don't swatch as nice. If you play more with them and get additional thoughts would love to hear about it @Mochapj. Thanks!
I wonder if there are quality control issues, because mine are definitely not sheer.
When swatching they were pigmented but patchy (all my below swatches were 3-4 passes to get an even color).
On the face because it's so powdery the brush picks up way too much even with the lightest pressure, so it isn't applying evenly either. So far all the ones I've tried don't need building up because they apply too much, so I'm having to spend lots of time buffing it out.
maybe I understood her video wrong as well. Like her swatches were patchy and sheer and heavy at some places. Like she is wearing the same color on her cheeks and her eyes...
ETA: Sorry she says a little goes a long way and she sheered it out but also build them up... can't seem to get the proper words out today. haha
Every swatch post of Bijoux is gorgeous. I really love this palette.
Plum/Bronze looks like a REALLY nice blush palette for you, Mocha! I adore that third bronze shade. The oranges look particularly nice, as well! Have you had a chance to use any of the blushes yet?
Thanks @lachaton! It's funny, I bought Plum/Bronze for the plums, but in person I like the bronzes more 😄
I haven't had a chance to try any of these yet. It arrived about 10 minutes before I left for work, so I just swatched and ran, LOL.
I plan to test them all out this week.
Indoor flourescent
Sunlight
😱😍 All the colours are so vibrant and truly jewel toned.
@fatimamummy I compared some of the darker colors to my UD Smoked palette and those have much more black in them, there are more "true" to their color.
Your swatches convinced me thay this palette is really pretty. The color scheme reminds me of the Pretty Rebel palette by Too Faced which I missed...
@Anonymous it's a lot more wearable than I thought it was going to be. These swatches are a little on the heavier side so these can definitely be worn more sheer.
Hmm interesting. Thanks for the swatches 🙂
@veronika23 I was just amazed at how different they look inside and outside. The color is much brighter and dimensional in sunlight.
Thanks! Really loving the rose/coral blush palette!!
@veronika23 me, too! It's my favourite of the bunch.
I wish some of the other shades were available as singles (like Bronze #3 and some of the violets/oranges!)
My fav too 🙂 Yeah it be nice if they brought back the singles. Think the palettes were made for MUA.
More swatches 🙂
I looove these. I was afraid some of them might be too dark, but your swatches have convinced me otherwise, @Libellules!
