Re: RE: Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

I'm so glad to see you loving the product just as much as I do @Aaliaa! I also heard a lot of reviews saying that it can ball up but I have never had that issue. I think it's probably because I layer products (toner and essence) prior to putting on the serum.

Re: RE: Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

@juliehnguyen @Aaliaa I wish the Niacinamide + Zinc serum worked as well for me! I tend to break out in little bumps (not pimples, and they go away as soon as I stop using the serum) if I use the Nia + Zinc serum too many days in a row. I've resorted to using once in awhile!

I do love the Azelaic Acid suspension and the Buffet serum, however! I'm on my 3rd bottle of Buffet since my first purchase in March. It's a staple PM serum for me.

Re: RE: Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

@k617 @juliehnguyen @Aaliaa, I've used the Buffet serum and agree with @k617, it's a good one!

Re: RE: Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

@Anonymous @k617 @Aaliaa I've been so tempted to try The Buffet because of its clever name and how the serum is jam-packed with so many goodies! I was going to order it with my Niacinamide on The Ordinary Direct to get free shipping but then Sephora announced this launch.

Re: RE: Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

@juliehnguyen @Anonymous @k617. Glad to hear positive reviews about the 'Buffet' serum. The salesperson at the Deciem Store recommended using more specific ingredients if I'm looking to address specific concerns. For a good well-rounded serum, Buffet (I love the name too!) sounds great.

Re: RE: Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

It's coming up fast @juliehnguyen!!!!

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

What are the odds that they'll restock the two main NIOD staples before the Dec sale ends...?

(keeping my fingers crossed!)

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

What is the sale they are having?  Hopefully I didn't miss out too much?

RE: THE DECIEM THREAD

I used the caffeine solution 5% + EGCG for my tired eyes, I stopped using it a couple weeks back and threw it away yesterday after a couple months of use. I switched back to just using Kiehl’s Creamy Avocado Eye and boy have my eyes never been happier. The lid on the bottle ended up getting some kind of crust around it, I have no idea what that is about but anyway it put me off the product and I hated the way it was applied with the dropper. In hindsight I think it actually made my eyes worse (puffier) and sometimes it would sting when applying, so because of this I’m sceptical to try any of the other products. The price is really great though.

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

The Ordinary is coming to Sephora around December online and in stores in March. Sephora will also launch Abnomoly which is a new brand part of the Deciem family.

ETA: Should be online at Sephora Dec. 20th

Article from The Cut.com

Spoiler

The most disruptive and unusual skin-care brand in the world will be coming to America. WWD reports that starting next month, Canadian company Deciem’s The Ordinary, which the Cut has posited as the Everlane of skin care for its radical transparency, will begin selling at Sephora. Previously only available to American consumers for purchase online, this will be the company’s first major push into the U.S. Currently, the brand’s only brick-and-mortar presence in NYC is at an Opening Ceremony pop-up at 35 Howard Street from now through December 3.

With the most expensive The Ordinary product at $20, it will be one of the most accessible brands in Sephora. Co-Ceo Nicola Kilner said to WWD, “What The Ordinary has done is managed to bridge what luxury is. So actually, it’s not about price point — it’s about good quality, it’s about being transparent, it’s about being honest.”

In addition to The Ordinary, Sephora will launch a new Deciem brand called Abnomoly containing more unusual products like gold paint and hyaluronic acid mouthwash. The Ordinary will be available online at Sephora starting December, and in-stores March giving you plenty to time to learn about all your acids and Google, “What’s a granactive retinoid?”

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

Not to be stupid, but why would you need a hyaluronic acid mouthwash?

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

@JenniferOhJenny   maybe for people who suffer from dry mouth?  That's what I'm thinking anyway.

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

@veronika23 Oh yeah, that would make sense!

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

@JenniferOhJennyI know there is already a mouth wash for that type of problem but guessing they also want to make their own 🙂

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

I can't wait to try everything! I'm so relieved you all know now 😄

I'm hoping to get more details in the upcoming weeks. YAY!!

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

Can't wait for you to share with us @KatieBT 🙂

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

This is the best news I've heard all day! It's hard to pick up $35 worth of product (in order to get free shipping) the way that Beautylish restocks the Ordinary's products - half of what I want is always OOS. Also excited that this means there will be more stock available. I'm almost out of my retinol, and of course it's OOS at beautylish so this is great!

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

Very cool news! I’ve had hit and miss luck with products across different Deciem lines but I love how forward-thinking they are and it’s exciting that they’ll be in Sephora soon!

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

Same here, @starsandbucks - some hits, some misses.

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

@veronika23  This is awesome, I've been wanting to try some of their products.

Re: THE DECIEM THREAD

Cool! Haven’t tried any yet, would like to! @veronika23
