It makes some peoples hair fall out and damages it to the point where your hair looks & feels like straw.  Below is a little more information on the product.  I’m positive this product destroyed my hair.  When I stopped using it my hair loss slowed down.

There have been numerous complaints and legal actions against Olaplex, with a significant number of customers alleging that the products have caused hair loss, breakage, and other scalp issues. In particular, around 30 women are involved in a lawsuit filed in 2023, claiming that Olaplex products led to hair thinning, bald spots, and even skin rashes.

Olaplex has denied these allegations, stating that their products are safe and have passed industry-standard safety tests. However, despite these assurances, the controversy has generated a substantial amount of negative attention, with around 12,000 comments online discussing the issue, many of which blame the products for hair damage.

While the lawsuit is ongoing, the debate continues, with some experts suggesting that certain ingredients in Olaplex products, like Lilial (which was removed due to EU regulations), could be irritants for some individuals, though there is no conclusive evidence linking them to widespread hair loss.
