It could also be stress related !

Hi @keriiiiiibear, have you had your thyroid checked? If it seems sudden, it could be a medical issue. What current products are you using? Did it just start?

Hi ! thank you for replying!  I have not had my thyroid checked this year… the last time I checked it was maybe a year ago and it came back normal. 😕  I’ve also had Covid and flu this year. For products, I’ve just been using function of beauty and I don’t know like my hair just doesn’t feel the way used to ? and I’m like really torn up about it 😭

Re: Thinning hair in my late 20s

@keriiiiiibear it could be an after symptom of Covid. It could also be your shampoo and conditioner, I've heard mixed reviews about Function of Beauty, so maybe try switching out your shampoo. In my case, I've been using sulfate-free shampoo and silicone-free conditioner for years and recently tried this K-beauty shampoo and conditioner set and my hair has never felt softer. I didn't realize until later that it had both so idk what to think anymore. The one I'm using is the Daeng Gi Meo Ri Ki Gold Premium Shampoo and Conditioner. I got them online at Costco but iHerb sells them also. I also recommended the Better Not Younger line to my stepmom when she was having issues and she said her hair felt much softer and smoother. It's targeted towards >40 but they have a discovery set you can try without making a big investment (and it's sulfate-free as well).
