Protein overload

Hello to anyone out there willing to give me there advice, I have short curly brown hair, and no matter what I use it always feels dry/frizzy and rough. My hair dresser said to look into hair persosity which I did and that led to a minor change, my hairdresser than told me my hair is in protein overload, anyone have any advice on what to buy or what to change in my hair care routine...I'll be your bestie

Re: Protein overload

@RoyMUA - You want to look for moisturizing hair products vs. ones that are for "damaged" hair, which contain protein.  Moisturizing products typically do not contain protein.  One product I love is a deep conditioning mask Briogeo Superfoodsโ„ข Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Hair Mask 8.0 oz/ 240 mL  .  I use it once a week with the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo 8 oz/ 236 mL  .  I also love Verb Ghost Weightless Shampoo for Fine Hair  and Seed Phytonutrients Moisture Conditioner.  Bottom line:  read the ingredients.  The less protein, the better.  Once your hair is under control, you can add it back in.  I use a protein deep  conditioner about once a month.
