Protein Free Recommendations

Hello All! My hair dresser told me I should start using protein free shampoo and conditioner. I currently use the green Biolage shampoo and conditioner duo with a serum I got on Amazon and the redken leave in conditioner (the one with like a bazillion benefits). I don't use extensions but my hair is having breakage leading to my hair falling out. As well it is very tangled. I as well have fine hair. I am open to any products as long as they won't weigh my hair down. As well I'd love a reccomendation for a clarifying shampoo... I've been looking at a few but I'm honestly open. Thank you so much!

I like OUAI Detox Clarifying Shampoo with Apple Cider Vinegar , Kérastase Energizing Scrub: Purifying Scrub for Oily Scalp 8.5 oz/ 250 mL , and shu uemura Ashita Supreme Purifying Sea Salt Scalp Scrub 11.4 oz/ 325 g .

Re: Protein Free Recommendations

You should definitely try protein-free shampoos and conditioners, as they are gentler and won’t weigh down fine hair. For fragile and tangled hair, it’s better to choose light moisturizing formulas with oils or aloe. A clarifying shampoo can be used once a week to remove product buildup and refresh your hair, but make sure to pick a gentle one so it doesn’t dry out your scalp.
