Olaplex hair products!?

I was just browsing today and noticed a few salons use olaplex products. Decided to search for it here on Sephora, found it, awesome reviews! But the price tag 38$ is what’s concerning to me after I also did a google search and found the exact same products on Walmart for 29$. Nearly 10$ cheaper. I rather make my beauty purchases like this through Sephora but I’d be saving 30$ for buying no3, 4, & 5! I haven’t really taken notice if there is always a price difference from Sephora to other companies. I guess my question is is this the norm for Sephora or is it possible for them to lower the prices?

I honestly do not think olaplex is worth the money. The treatment the hair stylists do in salons feels so different therefore I do not think they are a same and just a super up-priced deep conditioner in a tiny bottle!

@krissyf1990 Salon brands aren't necessarily associated with the mass store, where it's being sold..Walmart, CVS, Amazon etc. You don't know where stock comes from, if it's not direct..could be tampered with, fake packaging, watered down etc. Brands usually have a listing of authorized and not on their direct website.

NEVER buy high end salon brands at Walmart or any drugstore. They’re usually expired. Or possibly tampered with. There’s a reason why they’re cheaper.
