Looking for hair growth/density recommendations!

Hi everyone! I am looking around for a new hair care serum or oil to help grow my baby hairs and just thicken the hair on my scalp. So far I've been interested in the Art & acre scalp grow serum, the Ouai hydrating scalp serum, and the ordinary hair density serum. As they are all three different price points, I wanted to get some opinions and alternative recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Along with the other recommendations made by Cianni, if you’re looking for something to work from the inside out. I highly recommend nutrafol. It’s on the pricey side but truly works magic. My dermatologist recommended when I started losing hair and the hair I did have was thinning.

@MackenzieRaeS i have used quite a few products for hair growth along my middle part and hairline (I’ve had a lot of hair loss in the past, and some traction alopecia in my hairline from wearing tight ponytails and buns for so long). Here are my recommendations!

out of the products you listed, I’ve only tried the Ouai product. I quite liked it when I initially tried it, but I haven’t finished the bottle yet, so I can’t speak for sure whether or not it is the most effective product.

ive used multiple bottles of BondiBoost Procapil Hair & Scalp Tonic for Thinning Hair with Horsetail Extract 4.23 oz/ 125 mL  and BondiBoost Intensive Daily Scalp Spray for Thinning Hair ​with Rosemary 4.23 oz/ 125 mL   . These are somewhat similar in my opinion, but I preferred the intensive daily scalp spray personally. It doesn’t make hair greasy and require washing the next day, which is great because it makes it easy to use every day! 

L'Oréal Professionnel Serioxyl Densifying Serum 3.4 oz / 90 mL  is also something ive been using and really like. I’ve noticed thickening in my existing hair, while the bondiboost is more for growth.

for hair oils, the Fable & Mane HoliRoots™ Pre-Wash Treatment Oil for Thinning Hair 1.8 oz/ 55 mL  is a favourite.

for shampoo and conditioner, its important to use a detox at least once a week because all these products are sitting on your scalp, and you want to make sure they’re able to penetrate. I use the OUAI Detox Shampoo  , Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scalp Scrub Home & Away Duo and K18 Biomimetic Hairscience PEPTIDE PREP™ Clarifying Detox Shampoo 8.5 oz / 250 mL  

for regular shampoo and conditioner, can’t go wrong with BondiBoost HG Shampoo & Conditioner Set for Thinning Hair with Rosemary  , although ive used other products as well and i find that I don’t notice a massive difference as long as i keep up with my other products mentioned.

@cianni I lost hair along the hairline due to wearing a foam face shield during the pandemic as I work in Healthcare.  Have any of these products ever caused you more hair loss?  I tried Nioxin and it made things worse.   I also tried Act+Acre 2% Stem Cell H-2 Grow Complex ™ Scalp Serum For Thicker-Looking Hair 2.2 oz / 65 ml - 2 Month Supply  and I think I lost a little more.  I'm afraid to try other things.  

Also, have you tried any supplements?
