Is the Dyson hair dryer worth $500??

I have the GHD hair dryer and it’s great but I’m curious about the Dyson!!

Yes!!!! Its 399, and its definitely a splurge, but it is totally worth it!  My hair is curly and dry and with coloring... it was a total mess.  Since I changed to it i find myself cutting the drying time significantly, and using the difuser i could really feel a difference on the frizz.  Even my hairdresser comments on how much healthier my hair looks.  It is also great to dry your pet, its less noisy and my dog seems calmer (than when i used my previous dryer on her).

Yes, the dyson is worth the price tag (it's $399 not 500 but still expensive). I know that this dryer will last me several years so it's better than buying a bunch of cheap ones. If you color your hair it cuts down on damage and time it takes to dry. It's small and compact so great for traveling and it's so quiet compared to most hair dryers. I can get ready early in the morning without waking anyone up. It also has magnetic attachments so those are very nice depending on what style I'm going for. I'd recommend getting it on sale around the holidays if you can use a coupon on it.

We always advise that buying professional grade for your hair needs is best.  I know you are using the GHD which is also a great professional grade dryer.  Here are some features we love about the Dyson:

1.). Small and Compact:  Its super lightweight so its easier to use.  The motor is in the cord not the dryer so the actual dryers weighs barely anything.

2.). Its made with the latest technologies, which typically means healthier hair and better results. 

3.). You get the nozzle plus diffuser.  Which most professional dryers do provide as well.

Yes!  They would seriously sell more hairdryers if they had a booth where it could be demoed on people!  It cut my hair drying time from 30 minutes down to 12minutes!  It’s strangely powerful yet super quiet.  @gablio

Yes!!! The Dyson is amazing. So quiet and so fast and I have quite bit of hair.

I haven’t tried the Dyson, but I can attest to T3’s hair dryers! Was absolutely worth the price. With the Dyson being a high end dryer, I’d imagine it’s worth it as well....

My hairdryer before the Dyson was a T3 featherweight and I loved it!  A lucky friend ended up being the recipient of it when my hubby upgraded me:) @iNinja

Yes!!! And that is not an easy pill to swallow. I have naturally curly hair and using the diffuser added so much volume to my hair, while keeping it soft. And it straightens amazingly. Biggest recommendation, use the lower heat functions first. It can get extremely hot and that isn’t what our hair needs.
