Is Olaplex really that bad?

 Olaplex Strong Days Ahead Hair Kit has always done wonders to my hair.. and now I’m scared to use it based on what I’m reading. What is your experiences with Olaplex? This is my hair and I’m finally happy with it after being on a hair recovery journey for 3 years!

If it’s working well for you, use it. I used Olaplex for years (both in-salon treatment and at home) and never had any adverse reaction or hair loss. That being said, I never used their shampoo & conditioner, just number 0 & 3 treatment, and styling products (number 9 and the oil, which I still use today).

I have since moved on from Olaplex to K18 and now am about to try the L’Oréal professional molecular repair line. My only reason for switching is that new products come out all the time and I found K18 to be more convenient to use at home (just skip conditioner and use as a leave-in). I’m hoping the L’Oréal version will be even better since it is never and has a lot of R&D behind it.
