Help! I am balding 😭

I am balding! At least I think I am.. I’m in a full panic and I dont know what to do or what products to use to stop it... please any help will be welcome! I’ve been taking biotin for 2 years and haven’t seen any change in my hair. I’ve recently started taking collagen supplements as well..

Hi Tabby,

Please see the dermatologist for sure. I had the same thing happen in the same spot. Blood work was fine so my dermatologist did some scalp injections with cortisone (did not hurt at all) and it took care of it. I couldn't see my scalp anymore. I highly suggest that route personally since the DR will get your blood work handled or send you to a Quest or another lab and they get the info back within days and you can then go in and get the injections to the area. Provided you are healthy clear with the blood work or if it will not harm you should they find any issues with your test. Let me know what you decide. Best to you!

@TabbyHavok I have a thin spot as well and a few people told me to use Rogaine (for Women) Foam and it really works! My thin spot's hair grew 2 inches in 3 months!

Thank you! I’ve considered using it! Just curious, but what happens if you stop using it? Is it something that you have to use forever?

Once you start Minoxidil (Rogaine) you cannot stop. If you do stop, any results achieved will be reversed. There are more advanced solutions out there now, PRP therapy for one.
