Heat Tool Addict!

No matter how many times I've tried to give my hair a break from heat I always end up using some sort of heat tool. "Throwing in a few beach waves" turns into full-on big curls, victoria secret runway hair glam! Can you blame me? Unfortunately, my hair doesn't quite agree. As a professional, I don't always practice what I preach. However, I have to share what was the biggest game changer for my hair and career. OLAPLEX! You can imagine my excitement once I saw Sephora was officially carrying it! I'm sure many of you have tried it or at least heard about it. Olaplex is well known for being used in color services (which is a must), but I personally love how keeping up with my treatments has made my hair stronger and keeps it from breaking! As a brightly colored heat tool addict, this is a must to use in order to keep up my not so great habits. An Olaplex treatment at least once a week with an intense deep conditioner has brought the life back to my hair! Professionally, I have to disclaim that it is extremely important to use a heat protectant before any heat styling, turn down your hot tools, and rock your natural hair occasionally. I'd love to know what is everyone's go-to for protecting their hair or how you like to style your hair without heat?

I love this post because I can totally relate! My "beach waves" always turn into full on big curls! I probably use a heat tool 4-5 times a week on my hair and my go to heat protector is the Alterna Hair Care Caviar Repair Multi-Vitamin Heat Protection Spray. This product definitely strengthens my hair! I do not have any breakage and I use a heat tool on my blonde balayage hair all the time.
