Has anyone tried Kevin Murphy hair products?

I really want to try them because their ingredients are highly plant based but I donโ€™t know anyone who uses their brand. Has anyone used Kevin Murphy hair products and are they good ?

Re: Has anyone tried Kevin Murphy hair products?

Iโ€™ve been using KM hair products for over 5 years โ€ฆ I love them and hardly use any other brand. They are really clean and the ingredients are effective and nourishing. Though the products are on the pricier side, they are highly concentrated so you need to use very little and they last a long time. The company is in Australia but if you go to the store locator on their website, you can search for a salon in your area that sells their products. I donโ€™t recommend purchasing them from Amazon as they are not an authorized retailer of the brand and there is no guarantee of authenticity. I purchased a high-end skin product from Amazon some years ago โ€ฆ it was fraudulent and caused a bad care of inflammation.

Re: Has anyone tried Kevin Murphy hair products?

I use the Blonde Angel Wash (purple shampoo) and Blonde Angel color enhancing treatment (purple conditioner) and really like it.  Except for Christophe Robin's Baby Blonde Shade Variation Care Nutritive Mask, the Kevin Murphy Blonde Angel products are my favorite for blonde hair.  My hair (naturally dark blonde/light brown with light ash blonde balayage) gets really, really brassy VERY easily and aside from the Christophe Robin mask, the Kevin Murphy products are by far the best I've tried for getting rid of brassy tones.

My hair is thick, coarse, wavy, and dry and aside from getting rid of brassy tones, the Blonde Angel products also do a great job moisturizing my hair.  With most lines I have to use a deep conditioner or a leave-in conditioner because the normal conditioner isn't thick enough/hydrating enough but I don't have to do that with this line.  I've found that most purple shampoos are really drying but the Kevin Murphy one isn't.  It smells really good too!  And because it's extremely pigmented, and the conditioner is really nice and thick, you don't need to use a ton of product.  My only complaint is that because it's so pigmented it stains my shower so I have to scrub my shower immediately after I use this stuff.

@gangsta I adore KMโ€™s Young Again Treatment oil for smoothing fly-aways and adding shine and protection. I also use the Hydrate Me rinse and the Killer Curls. His line of products smell great and I think they do good things for my hair.

Re: Has anyone tried Kevin Murphy hair products?

@gangsta, after years of searching for a conditioner in which I tried everything under the sun, I discovered KM's Hydrate Me rinse. It is truly hydrating and worth the price. Nothing compares. If it's discontinued I will be truly distraught!!!

Re: Has anyone tried Kevin Murphy hair products?

I use the angel wash and rinse and they're really nice. They smell amazing (reminds me of creamsicles). The products seem expensive, but I find I only need to use the tiniest amount, so a bottle lasts for a long time.

I've also used the hydrate me wash and rinse. Hydrate me doesn't smell as delicious as angel wash, but as the name suggests, it's very hydrating!

They have a quiz on their website that suggests products according to your hair type, so I'd recommend trying that.

I use a lot of his products and love them all. The Angel Wash is the only shampoo and conditioner that leaves my hair with that "just left the salon" feeling. I can't even describe it.

I also use the powder puff for volume some days and the bodybuilding mousse which I also love. Oh and the beach spray.

Highly recommend!!

Just as an FYI my hair is color treated (highlights and fashion colors) and very fine.

Yeah i wanted to try their angel line like the angel mask but it says itโ€™s meant for fine hair and my hair is around medium-coarse so I was wondering if it would work on my hair type.
