Hair loss

 All my hair products have ingredients that make your hair fall out. I looked this up because I think my hair is starting to break off and fall out. I bought living proof but it’s on the expensive side. It’s the only product I could find without these chemicals in them!

This may not be what you want to hear, however DMDM hydantoin is an approved ingredient in small doses in cosmetics (including shampoo). Some brands, to make their lines into the “ Clean” category have removed this ingredient.
So what is it? The long and short is that it is a formaldehyde releasing agent, which in turn makes it a carcinogen. Does it cause hair loss? Absolutely not. There is no merit to that. Could it cause cancer in HIGH amounts? Yes, all formaldehyde/formaldehyde releasing agents can.

Thank goodness! Thank you! I do notice that my hair seems to be thinning but it may not be the cause or I might just be stressing too much about it. @GG84
