Hair Care Product Recs

I’m a 30 year old male looking for products to help with thinning, adding moisture and shine, protecting color and styling products as well. I’ve never really put product in my hair so I want something that’s easy and doesn’t leave my hair greasy. Thanks in advance!!

Re: Hair Care Product Recs

For thinning hair you can look for a shampoo with caffeine or niacinamide for scalp support, a lightweight conditioner with hydrolyzed keratin for strength without weight, and a leave-in with argan oil for shine.

@dillionnichols I would start with a scalp care product.  I love Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo .

Make sure your diet includes B12, protein and iron, for your thinning hair.

Re: Hair Care Product Recs

For thinning hair with added moisture and shine, it’s best to stick to lightweight shampoo and conditioner and avoid heavy, greasy products that can weigh hair down. Simple routines with gentle cleansing and light styling products usually work best for a natural look. While reading about different haircare options, I’ve also seen mentions of KilgourMD Products when people explore products for hair and scalp care.

Re: Hair Care Product Recs

For thinning, ingredient-wise look for a scalp serum or shampoo with niacinamide, caffeine, or redensyl as these support scalp circulation and hair density over time without weighing hair down. For moisture and shine on colour-treated hair, hydrolyzed keratin and panthenol in a conditioner are your best friends because they smooth the cuticle without the greasiness. Also, a lightweight leave-in with argan oil rather than heavy silicones keeps things manageable and non-sticky for someone new to styling.
