Hair Breakage

Hi all!

I'm a girly that get highlights yearly, but I have a decent amount of breakage in my hair. I have seen many celebrities with colored hair that maintain hair health with minimal breakage. I want know if anyone has tips in limiting hair breakage after getting it bleached. Please let me know and thank you!

@kizaaa I dye my hair alot and use a few products to help protect my hair and keep it healthy. Are you using anything other than shampoo and conditioner. Like serums or oils? What's your hair care routine like right now?

I rotate between hydrating masks and repairing treatments depending on what my hair needs at the moment.

For repair I use K18 Biomimetic Hairscience Leave-In Molecular Repair Hair Mask or Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Pre-Shampoo Hair Repair Treatment 

For hydration I use Briogeo Superfoods™ Avocado + Kiwi Mega Moisture Hair Mask 8.0 oz/ 240 mL or Oribe Mini Gold Lust Transformative mask 1.7 oz / 50 mL

@CynthieLu I will have to a look at those! As of now, I use Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo and conditioner. I alternate between using the conditioner and the amika Soulfood Nourishing Hair Mask. Then, I use Keratese oil.

Hum, no protective serums or anything like that? @kizaaa 

I use a hair serum like Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Frizz Control Styling Hair Cream 3.3 oz/ 100 mL or Living Proof Mini Perfect Hair Day (PhD) 5-in-1 Styling Treatment 60 mL/ 2 oz on my damp hair, then finish with a hair oil. I get waaay less spilt ends when I'm using things like that. There are so many hair serums, by sooo many brands. It might be worth looking into.

@kizaaa Hey yes I have some info for you,  Wella is the brand they sell online but rarely can find in ulta store. They have a tiny spray for repairing hair works within 1 minute of applying and I love it! Not going to lie it is costly but worth every penny!
