My hair salon has started using Davines and I’ve been enjoying their hair masks. 

The Davines OI Hair Butter Mask for Softness and Shine 8.81 oz/ 250 ml is very thick and moisturizing but, like @greeneyedgirl107 said in another post, it has a very strong scent.  A woman at the store thought I was wearing perfume. It tames my frizz very well but may be too heavy for folks with thin hair.

I just purchased the Davines The Spotlight Circle Hair Mask for Shiny Hair 1.69 oz/ 50 ml and I really like what it did for my hair. I think it helped my oily scalp, too. I think that’s because there’s mica in it, which I haven’t seen in a conditioner before.  It has a different consistency- I don’t know how to describe it but it has a viscous consistency. It’s something like a thick mix between a cream and an oil.

I purchased the strong hold gel first on sale at another retailer. It is too strong for me and would be better for shorter hair.  The Davines This Is A Medium Hold Modeling Gel 8.45 oz/ 250 ml is much better for my curls and I’m really happy with it.

The only problem I have is that the brand has such small sizes. I have long, very thick, very frizzy, highlighted curly hair. I have to use a lot of conditioner at once and price-wise can only justify the professional sizes of the hair masks.

Does anyone have any other recommendations?

Yes! The Nounou shampoo & conditioner. The Oi oil & Oi All in one hair milk. I am obsessed with the hair milk! It's lovely! Nounou is very nourishing, but it is a bit heavy for daily use for me. I am getting the volumizing formulas next as I believe they will be a better fit for regular use for my thinner hair. I like my volume! & will continue w/ Nounou, but as a treatment wash when I need that moisture boost.

What have you used? What has been your experience?

@turtlegonfab I tried a mini of Davines MOMO Hydrating Shampoo for Dry Hair 8.45 oz/ 250 ml . I really liked it as a daily shampoo. Right now I am working my way through the Davines NOUNOU Repair Shampoo for Damaged Hair 8.45 oz/ 250 ml mini. I totally agree with you that it is too heavy, or maybe doesn't give enough of a cleanse, for daily use. I have heard great things about the Davines Mini OI All In One Hair Milk for Softness and Shine 1.69 oz/ 50 ml for air drying. I also purchased the Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo for Frizzy Hair mini but have not tried it yet.
