Best product for frizzy hair??

So I have really thin wavy hair that gets pretty frizzy. So does anyone have suggestions on a hair product that could help stop or try to stop frizzy hair? I've tried a few things around my house like hair spray hair gel. So any suggestions or ideas? Thanks.

Re: Best product for frizzy hair??

So my best friend's hair is unbelievably thick, curly, and frizzy. We have found that the best things are Nexxus' Nourishing Hair Oil along with the slightest bit of Hot Toddy from drybar. If too much hot toddy is used, the hair will look wet and limp. What I do is I dry my hair with a cotton t-shirt instead of a towel which I noticed reduced frizz.Your brush or comb really matters. I use a wooden brush, and I think everyone should get a wooden brush/comb. Hope this helps.

@rafiashakil Have you every tried anything from Macadamia Professional? I have fine straight hair that's frizzy at the ends and oily at the roots and the weightless moisture shampoo/conditioner even things out pretty good for me. If you need something richer there is a nourishing and an ultra rich option. I also use the nourishing moisture mask and nourishing oil treatment. The shampoos are sulfate free but get pretty foamy, in fact I couldn't get away with sulfate free until trying the brand. They have styling products as well if that's all you're looking for, I just haven't tried any of those.

I'll definitely look into that. Thank you so much!

@rafiashakil Combating frizz is a multi-tired approach.

I recommend a moisturizing shampoo to start.  A lot of girls prefer sulfate-free, but that didn't work for me so I use John Frienda Beyond Smooth with Pure Coconut Oil.

Conditioners: I used DevaCurl One Conditioner for quite some time.  I am currently loving Biolage Hydrasource Conditioning Balm.  Others I used that are popular are Phytojoboa and Neutrogena Triple Moisture (the one is the tub).

Hair masks: All my favorites have been discontinued so I don't have a rec, but I definitely think you would benefit from one.

Hair oils: My favorite is Matrix Oil Wonders (the hibiscus one is for color treated hair).  I also like Alterna Kendi Oil (I have it in the liquid and dry oil).  Josie Maran Argan Oil is also popular.  You can use hair oils as treatments, with your conditioner, as a styling product on wet hair, or on dry hair (my favorite way).

Styling: I personally prefer silicone serums for my hair; my favorite is Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum.  I also use Phytodefrisant (silicone-free).

Finishing spray: Living Proof Humidity Shield actually works well.  I spray every day before I leave the house.

To keep hair healthy, I also recommend washing hair as infrequently as possible b/c water and heat styling are damaging.  I like dry shampoo to get me in between washings.  I like Alterna and Klorane (the non-aerosol) kind.

Many girls like It's a Ten Miracle Leave-In Product.

Good luck!
