Best Shampoo/Condition For Wavy, Frizzy, heavy, Oily Hair

I have wavy (not curly anymore ๐Ÿ˜ฅ) hair that gets frizzy(?) - More like electrocuted poodle that is super heavy and flat on my head but that poofs out at the ends.  I tend to have an oily hair so I wash it everyday or every second day.  I donโ€™t use dry shampoo because I really donโ€™t like it and it seems to make my hair even more oily.

I have been using Living Proof Curl Shampoo and Conditioner - along with the styling leave in conditioner and styling gel (which work great when I have the time to plop my hair overnight) But its super expensive for me.

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for what would be the best shampoo/conditioner.   If the general consensus is Living Proof - Iโ€™m OK with that.  I just canโ€™t bring myself to buy the super cheap grocery store stuff.

Hey! i used to have the same problem with oily hair, before spending money on new products, try this hair wash routine:

-Make sure your hair is absolutely soaking wet

-Shampoo once, really rub it into you scalp and massage it in then rinse.

-Shampoo a second time, do the same while extending it to your ends, then rinse.

- Condition your hair but only at the ends (furthest you should go is the middle).

After this, see how long your hair stays fresh!

If this doesn't work for your oil build-up then here are products i recommend:

The ordinary Sulphate 4% Shampoo Cleanser for Body & Hair -- $10.40 CA

Aveeno apple cider vinegar blend shampoo (It's drugstore, but it's great!) -- $20+ CA

You also mentioned frizzy hair, this could be caused by a lot of things such as dryness, high porosity hair, or by letting your hair air dry. I'm not sure what your hair routine is after showering/washing, but try and blow dry it in sections!

By your description I think you have dry hair- so find hair oils/masks to help with needed hydration, but you should lock in the moisture, do this by look for conditioning products with keratin. This should pair well with your hair type you described!

Doing these should help with your dull/flat hair issue as well!
