A companion thread to What's on your plate?
I thought it would fun to share what weโre all drinking. It could be your favourite tea or show of your crowd pleasing cocktail recipes. Whatโs in your cup?
Right now, Iโm enjoying a nice cup of ginger peach tea with milk and honey. Itโs nice and calming before bed.
@Samtian That pop rocks Shirly Temple sounds so fun!
@Samtian these both sound so fun! I love Shirley Temples! I don't drink anything alcoholic so on the rare occasions I go out for dinner at a sit down restaurant, I like to get a Shirley Temple as a special treat ๐
I didn't get photos of all my drinks from our state fair, but here are the ones I remembered.
Not good haha
Peache's N Dream Smoothie
Prickly Pear and Cherry whipped lemonade.
@Samtian ooh these sound so interesting, especially that last one! Did you like them? I need to try more interesting and different drinks!
Oh, prickly pear & cherry whipped lemonade? This is the first I've heard of that @Samtian. It sounds like the flavors might balance each other - not too sweet not too tart? Is that right? Did you like it?
Iโve got a cup of cinnamon rooibos tea. No milk or sugar, just warm and naturally sweet. Since being diagnosed with diabetes, Iโve cut back on sugary drinks. Of course, I get Mounjaro online and take it as prescribed, but I still need to monitor my diet thoroughly. Herbal teas have been a comforting and blood-sugar-friendly alternative. Cheers to cozy, healthy sips!
Today's morning cuppa - I felt like having something a bit fruity this time, so this is what I chose. My favorite mug had yet another mishap, but my sweet mom repaired it again for me, so it is back in action!
Morning cup of tea + mindful moment to calm my nerves before a big day. My first time trying tea by this brand, Tea Forte - I got a fancy sampler of their tea at HomeGoods recently. It was good, not bitter but not too fruity sweet either.
I only drink tea in the morning, and lately I've been really enjoying peppermint tea. Although before I couldn't imagine spending a day without a latte with a bunch of sweet toppings. But now I've reconsidered my approach to consuming all things sweet and try to support my body with the necessary vitamins from Canada Pharmacy Partner . I understand that sometimes you can indulge in something tasty and even quite high in calories, but if you want your body to get the good elements, then it's better to watch what you eat.
@caitbird that is an interesting blend for tea. Love the mug
@CorgiMommy thank you! I got the mug from Sweet Water Decor, it's one of my favorites.
โSaturday brunch called for mimosas for my hubby and me. On the right is a rhubarb, red currant and percesco mimosa. The left one is lavender, blueberry and percesco . I love how lavender makes the cocktail such a pretty color.
