A companion thread to What's on your plate?
I thought it would fun to share what we’re all drinking. It could be your favourite tea or show of your crowd pleasing cocktail recipes. What’s in your cup?
Right now, I’m enjoying a nice cup of ginger peach tea with milk and honey. It’s nice and calming before bed.
@Titian06 @Isn’t it pretty!!! I love when they put designs in the cup and not just on the exterior.
A tetrad of kid friendly sparkling drinks for New Year’s Eve.
Top right, Goku from Dragonball Super. This one was for me and was pear flavoured. I binged the entire series a few months ago and it was fun to see characters from my child grow up a little more and go on new adventures. 🐉
Bottom right, Fennekin from Pokemon. This one was for the elder of my daughters and was litchi flavoured. She wanted this one because she has a stuffy of Fennekin that she sleeps with. 🦊
Bottom left, Rei from Sailor Moon. This one was for my wife and was strawberry flavoured. Rei/Sailor Mars was her favourite growing up. Plus those red heels! 👠😍
Top Left, Chibiusa/Rini from Sailor Moon. This one was for the younger of my daughters and was also litchi flavoured. She got it because the can is pink and her hair is pink and she loves ANYTHING that is pink. 🩷🌙
@JoSometimes absolutley amazing I love them they all look so delicious and love the designs and characters how fun!
@peculiarzmakeup They were all great and everyone loved the drink they got!
@JoSometimes I bet my sister just got me into Pokemon so when I saw those I got so excited haha 😂
The fennekin one is very good!
There is also an Eevee one that tastes like peach 🍑 (very good!)
@Lila12345678 Oooo! A fellow Pokémon fan! I’ve tried a few of them now. They’re all good!
@JoSometimes Ahhh those are cute! They’d definitely be hard to resist.
You have no idea @heartsmyface! It took me FOREVER to get them out of that aisle!
Thanks @itsfi! I tried so hard to walk away from them but my girls insisted. It ended up being a nice new years treat for them.
The Qi Blue Lotus
@SportyGirly125 Oooh those are so fun to watch bloom when they get rehydrated. I’m curious to know how you repurpose it after for skincare?
@JoSometimes I love that it doesn’t go to waste
Baths: Adding dried or fresh healing flowers to a warm bath can provide relaxation and skin benefits. Rose petals, lavender, and chamomile are often used in this manner.
Infusion: Infuse healing flowers in hot or cold water and use the liquid to create compresses for sore muscles, bruises, and minor injuries.
Flower Steams: Inhaling steam infused with healing flowers can provide relief for respiratory issues. Add a handful of dried flowers to a bowl of hot water, drape a towel over your head, and breathe in the steam.
here are some more
@SportyGirly125 The bath and the steam sound so relaxing… 😌
@SportyGirly125 - I hope that tastes as good as it looks! 🙂
@Titian06 @It really does. I alternate between the rose and chrysanthemum too. Also you can repurpose the flower and add it into your skincare routine.
