I have a playlist called "Peppy" and it's all my favorite happy songs. I usually put it on either go for a nice walk or dance around a bit. A nice glass of something tasty (might a suggest a malbec?) and a happy movie also help! I suggest 'Clue' or 'Mean Girls' depending on your mood 😄
I like to put on perfume to give myself an instant smile. I often tell my husband that my perfume collection is basically aromatherapy 😇
Wine.
If I can't have wine, lavender is fine.
@Makeup4MePls Yes, definitely Oregon Pinots! Red and whites. I live in the Oregon Willamette Valley and think we have the best wines in the WORLD (yeah... Kind of a snob, I know haha). Unfortunately it's really hard to find Oregon wines outside of this region, since California has cornered the market with Washington picking up some of it. We're super local about everything in Oregon, so we tend to grow, produce, and keep it here. Anytime I'm out of the state or out of the country I look for Oregon wines but haven't found it.
White wines out of the South of France are nice, and Argentinian reds are probably my second favorites if I can't get Oregon wine.
@Makeup4MePls Pinot Noir. It's actually a good one to drink if you're looking for an alcohol that won't pack on the pounds and provide some added benefits. The antioxidants and chemicals in that specific grape are heart healthy and can help flush excess fat from your body. If you're staying away from carbs and sugar, it has very few so it won't throw off any diet plans you're following. Nothing wrong with a glass a day!
Ha, this is me 🙂 Except if I can't have wine, then whiskey is fine 🙂
Nice! I had no idea those were mood boosters @heartsmyface Thanks for sharing!
I'm really enjoying reading what y'all do to boost your mood ❤ Such a great thread idea @Neeliay!
It's hard to get out of your own head sometimes but here are a few things I like to do to try:
-Snuggle my fur babies
-Stress shop
-Light some incense and meditate with my crystals
-Go on a nice long walk in nature
-Drag the gals out for a night on the town
-Remind myself of all the positive things going on
