US Secret Santa 2021

It’s time yet again! Just reusing the thread from last year cause why not? I am pleased to host the BT Secret Santa for the seventh (I mean that sounds right? Maybe not?) year!

The rules are pretty much the same as the last few years!  

Rules:

1. US only

2. Must have a minimum of 600 posts on BT and be an active poster within the past two months! This is a community activity so participants should be an active part of said community.

3. You must make an account on elfsfer! That’s where the wishlists will be and the drawing will take place! Make sure your wishlists are updated with proper SHADE information and your address. 

4. The spending minimum is $50. Meaning you can buy one item that is $50 and have it count or multiple items to total up to $50! And as per usual, you can spend over on your elf if you so choose!

5. If there is even the slightest possible hint that you're going to buy something on your wishlist, do not put it on your wish list!

6. Include a gift receipt if the item your buying includes shade selection!

- To Sign Up:  November 3nd..  Names will be drawn on November 4rd and elfster will send you an email with who you got. Shoot me a message and I'll send you the sign up link! I know its a little quick this year because I started late but I always try to do it with the sale.

- To Send Gift: December 11th. Gifts will need to be sent by or on this date.

@sprocketta  Oh, what a pretty tree! Also, love your dog's cameo. 

I've debated getting one myself this year (I rarely do, aside from maybe a very small table top tree every decade or so 😂) and I think I kinda have to. If nothing else, I'll be able to focus on making/finding decorations for it instead of missing my family. If I put up a tree, I'll share photos.

@WinglessOne That's exactly why I did it, because I'm not going home this year. Last night, I was ordering stocking stuffers and picked out a present for my nephew and started crying. It was coming at some point and I'm sure they won't be the last tears this year, but I'm lucky enough that I have a family I am so close with and talk to daily. I called my mom and we both cried and she proclaimed 2020 the worst year ever.

@sprocketta hoping that good cry helped to relieve some of your disappointment and sadness. It’s wonderful that you are close with your family, though. That is something positive in this whole mess of 2020!

@sprocketta  I have had my tree up since Monday only because it takes forever to decorate and I want the kiddos to enjoy it longer.  I also decorated around the house.  I have some Thanksgiving decorations up too.

Just finished my last round of insomnia shopping for my elf! (What, no one else places orders at 3 or 4 AM when they can't sleep? 🤣) Now I can try to go to bed and shift to package planning mode later today. 👍 Can't wait to see everyone's gifts!

@WinglessOne @eshoe  I've started receiving the gifts that I've ordered for my little elf.  I'm now ready for the great planning of the packaging.  I'm so excited.  Can't wait to send the goodies to my elf.  And @WinglessOne I do some of my best ordering at 3am. Its my jam . . . . 😂

@tjffc @WinglessOne 3am is my quiet time. Waking up in the middle of the night used to be an annoyance, but most of the time now I think, ooooh yay, time to do some uninterrupted browsing!

I did a bit of wrapping today, I absolutely love  every part of this🥰
