The What R U Watching Challenge ~ Post Your DVR or Streaming Queue!

So I know there are various threads where we post what we are viewing/streaming but I thought it might be interesting for 2018 to have a CHALLENGE to post the queue of your choice for what you are currently seeing on your screen. 🙂

Rules:

1. Rules... There are no stinking rules! (just kidding!)

2. No really.. basically take a screen or type a list of the queue of your choice. Acceptable lists could come from such places as your: home DVR, YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Video, etc.

The more we share... the more you know! (oh wait... I'm not an NBC commercial!) But in all seriousness, my hope for this thread is by sharing these pics and/or lists we will learn about new shows, movies, series, etc. that some of us maybe never knew about before. The more we share, the more we learn. Sharing is caring!!!

I loved Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency so much I watched both seasons by myself and then I made my sister watch it again with me 😏. She's the only willing member of my family who will watch shows with me haha. I also rewatched parts of Sense8 with her! Why do all of my favourite shows have to be cancelled after 2 seasons? 😭

OMG You have watched Sense8??!?! My twin and I loved that show! I feel like it was so underrated and deserved so much more! I am so glad it got the 2 hour episode to wrap up the story line! I love every single sensate in the cluster on that show too! Especially Sun, Wolfgang and Lito! I wish that show was not cancelled!

It's one of my favourite shows. Coincidentally, I watched it with my twin as well 😄

Wolfgang, Sun and Riley were my fave characters. I did love them all though. All of their own individual stories were so interesting. The 2h wrap up was really nice. I'm glad we at least got to find out what happened in the end even though a final season would have been awesome. Glad you loved it too!

AH I love it! Do you and your twin like the same types of shows @SpaceLlama? My sister typically gets me hooked on shows but rarely likes what  recommend to her lol For like a year, she kept recommending shows that kept getting cancelled after one season, so now we have a rule that you can only recommend shows that you know have been renewed for a new season 🙂 

If you haven't already, Altered Carbon is another Netflix show, my twin and I loved! It's weird and full of sci-fi.

I'll have to add it to my watch list.

We don't really have too much in common tv wise anymore. She loves the Bachelorette, Gossip Girl and Riverdale but I could never get into those shows. I'm more into history and sci fi shows. We used to watch a lot more shows together growing up. We both loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer, One Tree Hill and the 70's show. We tend to rewatch shows with one another and so I rewatched Nailed it recently with her. 😄

@SpaceLlama, Your twin sounds like she would like what I would watch. My twin loves Buffy and got me into watching Angel when it was on the air. We tend to not watch the same things as well but we watch a lot of TV so we do tend to over lap some times. We both loved That 70's Show! 

My sister likes Vikings, (watched the first season and could not, so much blood!)  and also got me into Agents of SHIELD. 

We both tend to love BBC shows. Merlin and The Musketeers was our jam!

I loved the Musketeers as well! I only got up to season 3 of Vikings. I have a bad habit of abandoning shows after 3 seasons. 😬 I remember watching a bit of Angel, but it wasn't as good as Buffy so I didn't care for it. 

I enjoyed The Land Girls, Gunpowder, Class and Victoria on BBC 😄 if you have other BBC shows to recommend let me know!

@SpaceLlama So Dirk Gently is shot all around my apartment and office in downtown Vancouver! In fact, one of the pinnacle fight scenes in the first season is shot just outside of my old office door and watching it seriously took me out of the story! There are so many shows shot around my apartment and the places I spend 90% of my time and I am really bad for getting distracted by it!

That's awesome, @NotCrocker! At the same time I can understand how it can take you out of the story. They used to film quite a few things at the college I went to and so I'd always get distracted too. 😬

@SpaceLlama Yeah, it mostly challenges my suspension of disbelief because I will be like, "Wait, that elevator only goes two floors, that's not going to help them! Wait, they are going back to where they just were! Wait, that "ledge" is only one storey high!" Haha my brain can't give them a break!

Omg, @NotCrocker! That sounds so confusing haha. I get why its so hard to watch now! At least season 2 must've been better if you made it there 😉

I've never had anything that bad. The most shocking/confusing thing for me was when X-men filmed their last film at my college. They replicated one closed down building into many and said it was Auschwitz. I don't think any of us were expecting that when we saw the shoot 😬

Has anyone else watched the Kissing Booth on Netflix? It's definitely meant for teenagers but my friends and I are all low key obsessed with it lol. I like because it captures that teen romantic movie without being super cheesy and everyone actually looks like they could be a teen which is always a bonus haha

Yessss! I've watched this movie twice. It's so good! I've always been a fan of Molly Ringwald, so I was happy to see her face in this movie. 🙂

Also, I think it's so cute how Elle and Noah date in real life!

Omg! My 3 roommates and I watched it randomly...we definitely did not want to like it but the main character (actress Joey King) was SO LIKEABLE and it was just overall a fun watch! I loved her in Ramona and Beezus! Teenage movies are sometimes so fun and silly which makes them enjoyable.
