The Holiday Decorations Thread

The holidays are going to be strange this year. Many people, including myself, are unable to celebrate with family or simply the way they want to. On the news this morning they were discussing that many people are decorating early because they feel they need cheer. I put my tree up a couple days ago. I was thinking it would be nice to see other people's decorations and spread the cheer. I am NOT just talking about Christmas. I consider myself mostly Jewish but grew up celebrating many holidays and have a Christmas tree of my own. So no pressure in terms of holiday or religion. Whatever you want to share. I finished putting the details on my tree today.

My mom and I decided to put up our little tree from Russia to make it feel a bit like Christmas

It's a strange year for us all.   Here's hoping that 2021 will be better, although I think it will continue to be very hard for months to come.  This pandemic needs to be behind us in the rearview mirror!  A distant memory. 

By next Thanksgiving and Christmas, I hope the holidays will be more what we want them to be!

@tsavorite  Oh yes, it has definitely been a strange and rough year for many people. I hope 2021 will be be/get better, but personally I think it will still get a bit worse before it gets better, and even then it will be a bit of an uphill climb, considering everything going on. I agree, I hope next year the holidays will feel like the holidays, and we can spend more time with our loved ones too. ❤️

@Ispend2much6  Thank you, and no they are not. Most of the ornaments are just from Russia, and then we have some that we bought here throughout the years.
