Hello BIC beauties! 😊 I realized we don't have an active music thread here in BIC (there seem to be a few different short-lived threads from years past, but nothing recent as far as I could find), and I thought it would be fun to have a place to recommend our favorite artists and songs, chat about what we've been listening to lately, post our song of the day or anything else music related! Everyone is welcome to join in however you like, however often you like, and all types of music are welcome! 💜

Prioritizing sleep and incresing my digital detox from 30 minutes before bed to an hour are a couple of the self-care activites I want to focus on this year @caitbird. The latter is part of my efforts to prioritize sleep and has been helpful with my sleep quality. 🙌 One of the activities I include (or try to include) as part of my wind down routine is to get in some restorative yoga while listening to relaxing instrumental music. A set I've been enjoying at the moment is from the YT channel, The Soul of Wind. It's appropriately titled "Relaxing Sleep Music + Stress Relief - Relaxing Music, Deep Sleep Instantly, Night Coffee Music". 🎶🎵🎶

You'd think eating a Tous Les Jours bakery Walnut flattie, I'd think of a K'OST but  no 😁. I love my Keane, it's my favorite band of all time.

The Watersons - There Are No Lights On Our Christmas Tree

This song was originally written and performed by Cyril Tawney, but I like the Watersons' version best. The song is about a little boy whose father has a very Scrooge-like attitude toward the Christmas holidays. My dad thought it was depressing when I shared it with him, but personally it tickles my funny bone. So I guess your mileage may vary with this one!

We had a little bit of snow last night (just enough to be what my neighbor calls "mood snow"), and I woke up to a light dusting of it on our back deck. So today's song of the day is:

They played this over the store radio at TJ Maxx during the holiday season, back when I used to work there, and it was one of the only holiday songs they played that I didn't hate 😅

@itsfi  I actually have not listened to the Wicked movie soundtrack yet (somehow 😅), but I do enjoy the musical soundtrack, so I'll have to check it out! And oh yes, making plans for next year's pan project! I have been working on that a bit as well. I have some good goals in mind (many continuing from this year, and some new), but am not quite ready to call my plans finalized yet.🤔

Ahhh, I love the musical soundtrack @caitbird! I love musicals! 100% understand that - I have picked out most of the items I'm thinking about for next year's pan it! challenge but am going to sit with those for a week to see if I'm really sure that's what I want to do and also to fill two empty slots to round out my pan products. Hoping to have my choices finalized after the Christmas weekend.

@itsfi  my parents don't like musicals but my grandmother does, so I guess it skipped a generation 😅

That sounds like a great plan, I am hoping to keep going over my pan it plans for the next couple of weeks and hopefully I'll be all set once the new year rolls around! Out of curiosity, how do you decide how many products/categories to include in your panning project for the year? I know you have been participating in this challenge for several years now, so you've probably learned a lot about what works for you through trial and error.
