Christmas Cactus

I enjoy my Christmas Cactus plants. And I look forward each year to their blooms.  This year they are blooming well ahead of time.  

As you can see, there are multiple blooms still waiting to open.  

I will take other pictures as the flowers bloom.

Does anyone else share my love for this plant?? If so, please share your pictures with our community!!!

Not mine, but my neighbor's - I am petsitting for them again, and couldn't help noticing these beauties! She (my neighbor) has a real green thumb. Unfortunately ours is still not blooming this year - I think it is not getting enough light and/or fertilizer.

Oh my gosh @caitbird !  She sure does have a green thumb 💚.   They are beautiful 😻

Debating whether to repot this beauty.

@itsfi  I agree with @Cissy63  I think you could go either way! I have some that look the same and they still bloom and look beautiful. But if you want to repot it you would see more growth!

@ather, repotting it seems to be the way to go. Would love to see it flourish this year!

Wow it has lots of blossoms @itsfi  But it looks like it doesn’t have space to spread out.  It is growing upwards.  Maybe a larger pot will help it grow outwards vs upwards.

@itsfi  Thank you! I use to have a bright pink one. I love that this one is so unique! I also have a white and pink one!

I love the color on this one @ather! Makes me think of a tropical vacation - how can that be a bad thing?!! Also makes me think of a sunset. Also not a bad thing. 😊

It was a huge pot @caitbird! I debated whether to get it but my hands were full of groceries and I would not have been able to carry everything. But now it makes me wonder if Trader Joe's may have Christmas cactus available. That's where I picked up mine last year (it's no longer with us - ack!) May have to make a trip to TJ's soon.
