I also enjoy tin roof sundae @itsfi . I am not sure if you can get it in your area but Turkey Hill has tin roof sundae as one of their main flavors. They once offered a slightly different version of it calling it tin lizzy sundae. It had an additional peanut butter ribbon. I am trying to be good and I have not had any ice cream because it is a trigger food for me.

Yaaay, not everyone has heard of tin roof sundae so it makes me happy that you have and that you like it as well @Loretta55! There's no Turkey Hill within 50 miles of me, but I'm sure I will have an opportunity to be somewhere that does have the brand - I'm making a note! That additional peanut butter ribbon sounds like a tasty extra! 😋

Turkey Hill ice cream is sold locally in supermarkets in New Jersey @itsfi. They are based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I remember eating it as a child but I can’t remember if I had it at a store or if it was sold at a supermarket. It kind of reminds me of the peanut Buster sundae sold at Dairy Queen.

@itsfi yes - i deliberately wrote for multiple flavors of ice cream so we wouldn't get stuck with just one.  Who doesn't have many favorites of anything?!

7/4: Favorite flavors of ice cream?  Rainbow sorbet 

7/5: Favorite place to go swimming: ocean, lake, pool...?  There’s a river beside our house that’s been getting a lot of love.  We’ve dammed up a section so it’s more of a pool.  

7/6: Favorite summer song?  I don’t have one. 

7/7: If you could have a summer job, what would it be? just for kicks i’d open a lemonade booth by the water 

7/8: Ideal summer fashion?  I stick to shorts and skirts all year and lighten up the fabrics in summer. 

7/9: What shoes scream summer to you?  white sneakers, lacey flats, 

7/10: Best summer blockbusters? Blockbusters?

7/11: Plan a picnic!  Not so much a picnic but we drank coolers while soaking our feet in the river.  

7/12: Favorite way to tan?  I don’t tan and rarely use fake tan- though I did buy some just in case the urge struck.  I just need a week where (if things go awry) I can stay home and let it fade;) 

7/13: If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would you go?  One of my older sons is away to Scotland for the next two years so Scotland.

7/12: Favorite way to tan?  I burn in the sun and fake tans look fake, so I'll stick with my pasty white skin.

7/13: If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would you go?  I dislike traveling, but I wouldn't mind going to Germany.

@CorgiMommy I would like them more if there wasn’t a 84% chance of looking dirty.  The only one (Jergens fair)  I’ve ever found that doesn’t, well, it smells awful.  It’s a trade off I guess.

7/5: I’m not a good swimmer so even sitting by the ocean is good enough for me. Though with this killer heat we have in CA I take the pool too 😘

7/14: Pina Colada, margarita some cold drinks with tiny bit of alcohol. Definitely not hard liquor for me

7/15: Camino Islands series by John Grisham (I haven’t read the latest one Camino Ghost) but this series is perfect for beach read

Ahh if I could go on vacation anywhere... Thats a tough one since theres SO many places, but I have always dreamed of staying in a bungalow over the water in the Maldives 🙂

7/13: If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would you go? ooh, good question - this is a tough one! There are so many places I'd love to visit, but a few of my top picks would be the UK & Ireland, the Galapagos Islands, New Zealand, Iceland, Japan, the Pacific Northwest, and more close to home I'm hoping to visit my grandmother again soon (I just went with my parents last month for a family reunion for my grandma's 90th) in coastal Maine where she lives.
