BTW Iceland is incredible , you should go sometime

@CorgiMommy  my grandmother is pretty awesome, she just turned 90 and is still super active and engaged in her life. She walks for miles every day and is a first selectperson for the little town she lives in. I admire her a lot.

Yes, I have heard Iceland is very beautiful! I would love to visit sometime.

New Zealand and Australia are on my list too @caitbird . I heard their winter is our summer so it’s probably a good time to go in July.  😘

7/13 If I could go anywhere on vacation where would I go. I have 2 completely different ideas. My bucket list item is a cross country car trip. My parents always did that until I graduated high school. I have been in 43 of the 50 states. My other idea is a cruise. I have taken 15 cruise’s before but none lately. With the crazy storms, I am not sure how I can cope. Guess I had better just stick with the cross country trip.

You go @Loretta55 .🌹 I told my hubby when we retire, just throw in all the pots and pans and just drive to visit all 50 States (well except Alaska and Hawaii). There are so many places to see

I sort of cheated @blackkitty2014. I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri which is the halfway point in the US. We usually drove to New York and back then the interstate system was not completed. I always considered the car ride as part of the vacation. Our final trip before leaving was to Yellowstone National Park and Salt Lake City. Also the real dream would be having unlimited funds and time to complete the journey. When my son graduated sixth grade we took an Alaska cruise.

Alaska Cruise sounds really good @Loretta55 . I need to convince my hubby to go on a cruise but it’s a bit hard with all the mishaps after and during Covids . I did a Mexico cruise long  ago and it was so much fun.

My coworker had 3 separate cruises that were cancelled due to the pandemic @blackkitty2014. The cruise ship companies gave her a cruise for free because she didn’t ask for a refund. She paid for 3 cruises but took 6 cruises. Cruises are truly an all inclusive experience. There are so many activities. I have won multiple giveaways. I also won $1000.00 playing bingo.

Hi there - here for the vacation! My top 3 places I want to go are 1) Tahiti 2) Hawaii and 3) Italy. I fell in love with Tahiti from pictures when I was in college, my husband loves Hawaii (he's been 3 times for vacay so not fair lol) and Italy to meet and see my family and their wine orchards. Also Italy has the fashion, the history, and all that fabulous food so yeah I'd come back with a hefty credit card bill and about  10 extra pounds 😅.

@itsfi he's been to The Big island and Maui. You so can come with me! I'm sure the hubby would be bored to death with all the shopping I'd want to do 😅

@niki172  Tahiti and Italy might be helfty but Hawaii is somewhat more affordable (not cheap by any mean 😘) What islands are you interested in? We love Hawaii. We are in California so Hawaii is just a short flight away (5hrs).

@blackkitty2014  - I would like to visit Maui in the future. Being in the Midwest a flight out there would be over 8 hours (I can only imagine how long of a flight it is to Tahiti). I really want to go to French Polynesia and Bora Bora.

7/11 This would be my fantasy lobster rolls, Cole slaw and French fries . Ice cream for dessert.

7/12 I know it is not healthy but I would love to lay outside slathered in SPF.
