Advice wanted on Poshmark

Is there anyone here with experience selling on Poshmark that could tell me about it? I've already sold a fair amount of stuff on Mercari, but I'm looking to branch out to other platforms. To make a long story short, my mom asked me to sell some of her clothes she's never worn, and I found out that, though it's a great place to sell makeup GWPs you'll never get around to, Mercari is an absolutely terrible platform for selling clothes.

The obvious alternative is Poshmark, and I can deal with the higher commission they take if it means things will actually sell, but I'm more worried about how much time commitment Poshmark seems to require. Reading FAQs about it, they want to to share your entire closet multiple times per day, join "Posh Parties", interact with other people's stuff too, make a Pinterest, etc. etc. etc. if you want any hope of having good sales? Am I reading too much into what power users are saying? On Mercari, selling stuff involves a few hours during the weekend at most for me. As much as I want to help my mom clean out her closet, I don't want to take on a second job.

So, if you use Poshmark to sell casually, how much time involvement does it require for you?

(On a separate topic, does anyone have any Poshmark referral codes they want to share? I didn't sign up for Mercari with one, and I'm extremely salty about the ~$50 in coupons I've missed out because of that.)
