Why are Natasha Denona products being removed from stores?

My local Sephora just removed all the Natasha Denona products except for 3 eyeshadow palettes (My Dream, Retro and Glam). I went in there today to shop the Sephora sale and I was going to pick up two of her eyeliner pencils and I was going to pick up the Mini Nude Palette, but as I said above everything has been cleared out. I asked a sales associate why Natasha Denona has been banished one shelf space on a small endcap and she said she didn't know but that the line was available online.

What is going on? I hate that I can't just walk into a Sephora anymore and just buy the Natasha Denona products I want to buy.

Has anyone noticed or experienced the lack of Natasha Denona products at their local store? #NatashaDenona

I no longer look to Sephora for my beauty needs. I used to shop there lots but they do not carry any of the brands I use anymore and the little they have from some of them are ship only. I find that the individual brands offer more promotions and ship quickly. I have been ordering all my Natasha Denona online. The company fills and ships the orders pretty quick and they have a great rewards program. Also you will be the first to know about her new drops and be able to purchase before the general public. I also find the products are way fresher than when purchased on Sephora.

Everything Natasha Denona on Sephora's website is Final Sale no returns or exchanges:(

@FabGirl84  I just left a US Sephora boutique (NY) completely disappointed - my closest boutique has never had a Natasha Denona section but this one did…and it’s gone. I inquired about it and was told that this was being done by corporate (and the sales associate I spoke with seemed pretty unhappy about it, too).

I wondered, if a product line is well-formulated, gets great online reviews and does well in sales, *why* would corporate be phasing it out from the boutiques? I assume it has to do with what @SportyGirly125 suggested - although it is very disappointing, as I have been a Sephora customer for a really long time and prefer the convenience of shopping in-store.

@NotoriousPink Yes, I think her exclusive in-store Sephora agreement expired and Sephora probably has an in-store exclusivity clause.  Since Natasha Denona is now sold at the competitor, Ulta Beauty, she is now exclusive in-store to Ulta.  I note that I had to buy the Mini Triochrome Palette at Ulta because Sephora never got it. Her Ulta agreement must have exclusivity to certain releases. I miss her at Sephora because I like going in-store to purchase my ND palettes. Ulta Beauty has horrible shipping and some palettes have arrived damaged. Ulta removes the thick cardboard wrapper box that ND uses to protect her palettes during shipping. They're so dumb.

Re: Why are Natasha Denona products being removed from stores?

I noticed that couple of months ago and I thought people were buying a lot hence they are selling out... but now when you click on some of her products here online, it says no longer sold or available. Even the Biba palette i had in my love/wish list, says shipping restricted to the US.. I do not understand this pulling of her items off the shelf...

@FabGirl84 @It’s probably because it’s being sold at Ulta now.
