The Packaging Thread

Packaging plays a major role in beauty products. Brands put out releases with special LE packaging. How many times have you drooled over the compact itself or the box or jar? Some packaging is a work of art. This is a thread to show that extra swoon-worthy items you had to photograph and share. I'm a sucker for the PMG lipstick boxes and keep them all. Huda put out a number of lip sets in adorable tins (this tin sits on the bathroom counter). These are a few of my favorite items. Please share yours. @Guessgal I had a couple items from her that were at least 10 years old and not being used, but I was keeping because they were too pretty to throw away. I finally did it when I moved. What is that purple gem in the 2nd picture? It's captivating

It is the Rose Ring Rouge 400, a lip pigment from the looks of it. I have a similar lip pigment in a rose shaped keychain from her line as well @sprocketta @danielledanielle

I found a few that I like. Colourpop, Tarte, and PMG. I wish I could have afforded more of the PMG Star Wars collection but it’s just so expensive.

@KehDee I like the CP packages and of course the PMG. Were the Snow White and the 7 Dwarves lipsticks as disappointing to you as to me? I got a crazy good deal on them because someone posted it on BIC but I really disliked these. Ugly, waxy texture and strangely shaped.

I haven’t even tried the Snow White, I bought it more as a Disney collectors item. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t like them though

@sprocketta Such a lovely idea for the thread. I’m very much into aesthetics, be it cosmetics or interior design. I love when the whole package inside and out presents a beautiful story. I love Becca highlighters, but I have not touched Parisian Lights and Flamenco Dancer. I have a lot of my collection stored in another apartment overseas, but these beauties are good examples:

@Guessgal  Thank you. The 6th one is Sisley’s L’Orchidée Corail. The 5th one is Sulwhasoo blush (after Clé de Peau).

@RebeccaBT  It makes it nearly impossible to use. Just too pretty. And than there are lipsticks as well: like the moons and stars on LE Guerlain from a year ago or the insanely gorgeous LE Dior from this winter
