Hey all you cool cats and kittens, welcome to YEAR 6 of the Pan It Challenge!
The "Rules"
To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.
Getting Started (please share the following)

Tips and Tricks to Panning/Getting Some Use Out of Your Stash:
Ideas to Help You Pan Those Items:
Past Panning Challenges:
Love the sexy close-up of that lip palette, haha @itsfi -- you are killing it with Monroe, such a beautiful shade. I wish I could get a single of Sculpture, though. I'm psyched for you that the homemade balm is working out so well.
Hahaha @heavyhedon! This lip palette holds a lot more product than I thought. Monroe has been a good eyeshadow for me - alone or paired with a matte shadow. 👍🏼 Sculpture is really such a beautiful and versatile shade. 😍 I need to use that one in more looks.
Awww, thanks for your encouragement and confidence @Samtian! 😊 Some months see more pan than others. Just have to put my head down and keep chugging away at it.
@itsfi Excellent progress! Thie is your year! You can do anything you put your mind to. I still have to get out and grab some special tape. I went to a plaza last weekend with a Michael's and totally forgot about it. I like how the tape reminds you of what products you are trying to pan (and what you have posted in the panning challenge). I personally have so many things on the go. The tape will be a game changer. Keep up the great work!
@Mellmars1185 I've been keeping an eye out for that tape to 😂. I don't have anywhere locally that carries it, but tomorrow I go to a bigger town.
@Samtian, most craft or stationary stores should carry washi tape - Joann’s, Holly Lobby, Michael’s, Ben Franklin crafts, etc. @Mellmars1185 is right, Amazon will have them, usually in sets. Etsy will have some as well.
Samtian, let me know if you have trouble getting your hands on a pattern you like.
@itsfi I am stopping at Hobby Lobby tomorrow. I live in a very rural area, all those kind of stores are about an 30-60 minutes away.
@Samtian, keeping my fingers crossed that the Hobby Lobby has a good selection for you to choose from. 🤞🏼 It should have several options available - packs of 2 washi tape all the way to a set with 30 of varying sizes. If you can’t find what you like, let me know, I can go into a couple of stores here and take and send pics of what they have.
As an aside, another use for washi tape - you can use it to make your own background for photos.
Well some of my Pan It products were used more than others.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow was used the most. The letters on Bronze are gone and the letters on Highlight are nearly gone too!
tarte Sunset Blur setting powder was used less often. I used another powder in Lunar New Year packaging more! But I need to give Sunset Blur more love ❤️
Milani Keep It Full lip plumper had no love last month 😔. He need to work harder on using this. Same for the Neutrogena MoistureSmooth color stick .
tarte Foundcealer received some love as marked on the bottle. But not as much as it received in January.
tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush in Peaceful received a lot of love , but you can’t tell. I use only a little bit to get my cheeks blushed. But none of the lines have worn out.
The Elizabeth Arden Sunset Bronze lip gloss was used several times, often over another lip product. But you can’t see the difference.
Same for Urban Decay Born to Run palette, colors 2 and 3 on top row
Beginning of March
Beginning of January
will see what March brings 😃
@Cissy63 -- I can see how you are using that Born to Run. Great palette, they should have made it permanent. Love those lippies you're working on. re: blush, I have had three tarte blushes for years and the most used one still has some lines, I swear it's made to last a hundred years. Value for money, right? Wishing you great panning this March.
@heavyhedon Thank you 😊. Somehow I’m not surprised about the tarte Amazonian blushes 🤷🏻♀️
