Hey all you cool cats and kittens, welcome to YEAR 6 of the Pan It Challenge!
The "Rules"
To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.

Ideas to Help You Pan Those Items:
Past Panning Challenges:
@haleyvvvv -- what beautiful stuff! I love those blush palettes, as I did the first time you showed them. Good luck, you are so steady I have no doubt you'll hit most or all of your goals and more.
If using loose powders isn't a drag for you, that Lise Watier bronzer might be easier to access that way. I'm pretty good with loose powder stuff, even eyeshadow, as long as I keep it handy, but I know not everyone is fond of the form.
Thank you, @heavyhedon!! These blush palettes are such faves and have so many beautiful shades, and this will inspire me to keep reaching for them.
That's good advice, but I hate loose powders personally (I'm clumsy and it's just a recipe for disaster). I think it just magically never ends tbh.
Impressive @haleyvvvv . So many things you’re so close to pan. You can do it 👏👍
@haleyvvvv now this is a project! looks like you've made some good progress already on some of these, especially that Stila (which is so impressive because i find that half of my liquid shadows ended up drying out before i had a chance to finish them). i love that SC blush palette, that bottom right shade in the pink packaging palette is just stunnnning😍 cant wait to see how these progress over the year!
Thank you, @cianni!!
Yes, I love love the SC blush palettes and I really want to get more use out of them. I've been excluding them a little in favor of my single cream blushes.
I reinvigorate my liquid shadows with the Lilah B spray (RIP; I grabbed three mini bottles before they sold out). But this one's been pretty good so far. And to be fair, it's a mini. But I think it'll be easier to go through than my larger one. I did start this one last year when my last year's project pan Stila shade was finished.
I'm excited to try a different set of products this year!!
@haleyvvvv Oh my goodness how are you getting all that gratis?! 🙂 congrats! Good luck in your panning! I tried panning bronzer this year for the first time and it’s so hard to use up that mine is carrying over to this year. Can’t wait to see the progress.
I've been very lucky from the lovelies at TeamBIC here over the years. They give gratis to active BIC members periodically.
Thank you, @BluePaisley!! I know what you mean about bronzers!! I'm hoping to finish the powder mini that's been after me for two years (I hit pan in 2021 and was like I'm good, it'll be done next year without my having to focus on it. Nope, ended up playing with cream bronzers and didn't focus on it as much and also bronzers never end, especially powder ones). I'm hoping the cream ones go a little faster, especially cause I've been using them and they have some dips.
@haleyvvvv What is BIC? Good luck with your creams. I am working on cream also and it’s taking me over a year and I had good use on it when I started panning. Either way it’s fun to try and finish products!

I didn’t want to pick to many so I would have this an attainable goal. I have picked the OUAI Mini Hair Oil 0.45 oz/ 13 mL I like it but I have some that are better. So I need to use this up so I can move forward with the better ones. I’ve been repurposing this as a body oil so I hope to continue and use this up. Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Pre-Shampoo Hair Repair Treatment while this use to be my fav. I have found a better one that works in less time. So I would like to use up all these bottles so I can start using a better product! the ordinary alpha lipoic acid I don’t mind it but I am not using acids as much anymore so I would love to finish this bottle. And BHA again not using as many acids so I would love to finish this one too.
Yes to hair care and panning @ather! 😊 It feels so good to use up what we have. I'm with you on using acids less frequently. Even last summer, I didn't use them as often as I once did and my skin did better.
@itsfi Same here. I feel like they got super popular for a bit. But my skin is happiest with less.
I agree @ather. My skin used to be able to handle more frequent use of acids but I've been more of a minimalist when it comes to my skincare routine over the last few years. I still have routines that have a few more products than the basics, but the extras primarily consists of serums, oils, and hydrating / soothing / mositurizing masks. I have a few peels and exfoliating products I keep on hand but not as many as before. I know everyone's skin varies so folks who can handle acids more frequently, more power to them - there's some great acid based products available these days; but my skin, like yours, responds better to less. There's enough other factors that contribute to my skin being aggravated or damaged (hello, winter winds and cool temps, and yes, hello maskne!).
@Samtian Thank you! I know it’s usually more makeup related but I need to work through hair care 🤣
@ather Haha I hear ya! I never touch that category, I need to.
Good choices @ather good luck in all your pan it goals this year! 😄
