Hey all you cool cats and kittens, welcome to YEAR 6 of the Pan It Challenge!
The "Rules"
To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.
Getting Started (please share the following)

Ideas to Help You Pan Those Items:
Past Panning Challenges:
There were some amazing green palettes from indie brands last year @haleyvvvv! Lots of variety of greens in different finishes and tones. 💚 The Bobbi Brown Jadestone has colors I could see myself reaching for on the daily and is something I'm more likely to hit pan on, but that gold shade. It's gonna be the most challenging one for me. There's a part of me that wants to say "challenge accepted!" 😂 but I'm gonna have to come up with a game plan for usage because if we're going on just what I'll use instictively, I may never reach for that shade. Hmmm... gonna have to do some thing on that one!
Go @itsfi ! It's a lot of powder products but still seems very doable having seen your success with Biba thus far. The Lip Suede compact is very interesting, love those shades. And the BB palette is good for every season, isn't it?
Thank you @heavyhedon! I’m looking forward to another year of panning together! 😃 Yeah, I didn’t include any foundation or more emollient products this time. I’m pretty good with rotating and working through my foundations so I didn’t pick one for the year but I might pull one out for a seasonal pan.
The middle shade in that lipstick compact is a hard one to wear on its own. I’ve been using it as a lip primer and also pairing it with a lip liner so hopefully that will help me work through it. It’s my least favorite shade on its own from the lip suede - just watch, it’ll probably be the first to hit pan. 🤣 The BB palette has some fun shades to play with.
Thank you @blackkitty2014! Excited to see what products you’ll choose to work on this year.
Wishing you an the luck this year in your pan projects @itsfi 💛 you can do it!
@CynthieLu, thank you. I’m interested to see how far I get on the eyeshadow palettes now that I’ll have two in my pan project. 🤞🏼
@lmaster, thank you. It will be nice to work through a few things.
Good luck @itsfi! I am hoping to use more haircare too!
@itsfi I love it. Major hair care goals and the Bobbi Brown will really nicely compliment the BIBA shades. Do you think the WA lip suede would work as a blush in a pinch?
Thank you @missjeanie! I want to get into more of a routine with my hair care. Not that I mind the wash-and-go approach I’ve subscribed to for years but paying a little more attention to my hair wouldn’t hurt, especially since I’ve been getting highlights more regularly.
I’m pretty sure that Morrocanoil will be repurposed into a body oil or hair mask at some point in the not too distant future. The original version can be a smidge heavy for my hair. Hmmm, good question. I think the WA could maybe double as blush but I am not great at wearing blush on the daily. And I have a fair share of blush as it is that I need to use. 😆 Surprised? Hahaha!
lol @itsfi I'd bank on most of us having more than enough of everything lol. I'll have to try out the Morrocan Oil as a body oil... I bet it's great like that!
@missjeanie, my skin is suuuuuper dry right now. 😔 The desert 🏜️ really isn’t that dry compared to it at the moment. 😝 The perfect candidate to test out all sorts of lotion, cream, butter, oil - whatever works to add some serious moisture to my skin will definitely earn high praise!!
@itsfi Amazing goals, can’t wait to see your progress!
Thank you @BluePaisley! 😃 I’m excited for us to start up with a new project pan for the year. I kept the number of products smaller this year - for me, it’ll be more manageable and will allow me to maybe do some seasonal panning too without feeling like I’m juggling so much. Here’s to another year of panning! 🙌🏼
I didn’t do very well last year. I’m going to do better this year and get through these 6. The CT Setting spray and flawless filter are new.
Saie is a little over 1/2 full.
@faeriegirl Oh these are great choices!! Can't wait to see the progress!
Thank you @Samtian! Hopefully I do better this year!
