2021 Challenge located here: Pan It! - 2021 Challenge 🏆
It's time for a new decade, and a new Project Pan!
Before we dive into the details, I want to thank each and every one of you for joining me in another year of panning. I cannot believe that this thread marks the 4th year of this challenge and how much it has grown over the years. It's been a joy to witness so many of you participate and encourage others along the way. For those of you thinking, "there's no way I can do that," think again! We've all said that at one time or another, and some of the biggest skeptics have grown to take panning by storm. Thank you all for your never ending inspiration 😘. Cheers to a new decade 🥂-Elle

The "Rules"
To accommodate a variety of interests, you all are encouraged to pick items to pan that are most suitable to your collections. For some, this might mean focusing on a particular type of product (like lipstick) and for others this may include a larger variety spanning your entire makeup or skincare routine.

Whoa @KeriCherryDee! You got through so many products. Great job! 👍🏼
So here are what I panned 😀
Here are what I’m working on
Too bad the picture won’t show how close I am to hit pan on the left bottom eyeshadow in the palette but I’m getting there 😂 Soon I hope
@blackkitty2014 Wow great job! When I was working on panning certain eye shades, I found if I get down on a more slightly higher than horizontal level, and angle it, with the palette I can get a good picture to show how deep the dent is.
I'm amazed by your panning skills! @blackkitty2014 Especially the large Tom Ford items! These would probably take me a couple lifetimes 😅
I agree, @blackkitty2014 . That's a huge dent in the (highlighter?)!
Oh you see it 🥰 Thx you @ElleElleG . I like that highlighter. If I can pan any blusher or highlighter that would be big win for me 🥰 Miss you. Hope you’re doing well.
Thx you @Guessgal . I bought this when it’s first released (probably 3-4 yrs back). It took me forever 😘 I hope to pan the Soleil cool palette soon.
Wow! 🙌🏼 You’re doing so well @blackkitty2014! You’re almost done with so many of these goodies!! That TF palette is gorgeous. Didn’t you pick it up this year? So inspired by your progress. 😍
@itsfi This is one of the first Soleil palettes they came out around 2015. I really love this one. Basically no need to blend anything 😂🤣 The blusher and highlighter are also great.
I'm excited for next year haha, hopefully my enthusiasm actually continues into next year! I've tossed a lot of things this year due to them being expired and yucky etc. So I decided next year will be a heavy year of shopping my stash. I have got to get a grip on my spending and not using stuff. I actually rouged this year, and that money could have went to traveling. I haven't done any since Feb. and it kills me. So I need to get my butt in gear. I am going to work on- Perfumes/Mists (I'm hoping my smell comes back), Skin Care, Lip Balms/Gloss, and Lotions. I'm going to be doing quarterly posts since progress will be slow. I'm doing some deep cleaning of my room and other areas and finding a lot of stuff eek.
@Samtian I ready for next year as well. Love that you were sorting through your collection, that's definitely something I need to make time for as well!
Yay for shopping your stash @Samtian! 😍 I did that for the most part with my skincare this year and got through a lot of products of all sizes. Quarterly posts work; looking forward to seeing your progress in 2021!
I'm very late with posting my October progress. Here's where we were on November 1:
October proved to be a good month for panning nail care products - I finished the Butter London Horse Power Nail Fertilizer in middle of the month and the Primark Overnight Nail Sleeping Mask near the end of last month. 😁 Of the two, I will likely repurchase the Butter London, after I get through another similar product that I recently discovered in my stash. Using up the StackedSkincare Hydrating Lip Peel is what I'm most proud of, primarily because I wasn't a fan of the product. Happy I found a way to repurpose it. Happier that it's finished! 🙌 I'm almost through the Sephora Collection coconut water mist. I'd actually forgotten about it until I uploaded this pic. It's now on my work desk where I can see it every day - fingers crossed that helps me to finish it up this month. 🤞
I'm soooo close to panning Freckle from the Natasha Denona Biba Eye Shadow Palette. So close. I haven't been wearing eyeshadow much this November, but I'm going to kick it in high gear for the remainder of the month. I picked up the ND Glam palette but I'm holding off on that one until I can pan Freckle. Let's hope that's enough motivation! 😀 Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush (Paaarty) will be in hibernation mode 🛌 for the rest of the year. Maybe its absence will make the heart grow fonder...
