Help me craft the BEST of the best makeup brushes; holy grail brush edition

I am looking to start a collection of the best of the best makeup brushes. I am not talking about sets, just individual brushes for any specific purpose. If you could add why it's #1 to you, what you use it for, or why it's better than others, I'd love you forever. Not a super cost conscious post either, just looking for the most used and highest quality brushes out there! Any feedback would be super helpful!!

@sxfitzx3 I went through several rounds of brushes and have now settled on my hands-down favourites: any brush by IT Cosmetics.

I own almost every brush they sell and absolutely adore them. They are so worth the investment. They’re ultra-soft, synthetic, and cruelty-free. The ones I would prioritize getting are:
